Thank you everyone for your excitement! I have made another version to accommodate the request of multiple control arm pick up points for roll center adjustments. That version is not to my satisfaction so I'm going to daft up another one to correct the concerns.
I like the work on the car, looking to do one of these myself so super interested in how you do. Would have liked more info on the fab side and maybe could have spoken about and showed the engine before putting it in. I imagine working on and speaking about what you're doing can be tricky, perhaps in future show slightly slower time lapses and speak over the time lapse explaining what you're doing, would be super helpful. otherwise good job!
Awesome! Thank you for your comment and feedback. I'm currently working on a pearl CQ that shows up in a later episode (#4 & #5). I'm doing a more in-depth video process on those coming episodes, so hopefully, I can cover some more info. Thank you again, and please keep the comments/ feedback coming so I can cover any questions. Thank you.
Great video! Thanks for sharing, always good to see more Audi builds on UA-cam. In regard to your oil pan, engine mounting and subframe, I really dig the way you modified the subframe, did you also have to modify the stock pan? Or did tubing the front subframe provide enough clearance? Debating whether I get the iabed oil pan for my 4K or if I go a similar route to what you did. Thanks! And keep up the good work!
Thank you. I'm using the stock oil pan. I'm currently engineering a full tubular front sub that will have clearance for the 07k in stock form. That video will be coming out soon. I'll have a jig, so I'm planning to produce them as requested, so that might be a solution for you.
Really nice work man, I also consider swapping my 10VT to slightly more modern 07K in my B4 quattro. Im just interested in, how do you adapted 5 cylinder gearbox bell housing to match 07k bolt pattern, since it uses newer 4 cylinder patternt?
Thank you! So to adapt Trans to 07k you'll have to cut part of the bell housing (mainly because the upper chain cover) and adjust and tap some holes. I'm hoping to cover this more in a video when I remove the engine over winter.
I'm working on a revised version of the motor mounts. Once revised and I implement a production they will be available to purchase. i might make a short clip on the revised version to show the improvments.
What is a legit question how much do you think a 1990 red. Just like the one you have. In very good shape. Very very clean all around. 146K miles. Pretty much mint shape. Runs perfect. What is your value on a car like this? How much is it worth? I am looking at one tomorrow.
@@cityneckmediallc no worries. It is extremely hard to put value on them right now. That’s why I was curious what your thoughts were he wants 15 K But it’s literally mint and mechanically perfect.
And if I buy it, I definitely will follow you. See what you recommend for engine.
Great video keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Awesome stuff! Been wanting to do a B4 coupe 07K swap, very jealous!
Thank you. I'm working on making a coupe sets of everything needed to make this swap so more can join the fun!
did you?
@@cityneckmediallc that would be fantastic, I actually have a coupe quattro now and an 07k! So ready to hop on board

can you show how you made the mounts???

I'm sry I don't have a great answer for that.
But my opinion is that this model is going to become very popular in the five years.
