Working on this channel involves dealing with a lot of obscure primary sources that have never been translated into English, or in certain cases never even digitized. That’s not a big problem for me personally when it comes to languages like Spanish, Italian, or Hebrew, but for this episode I had to deal with an unusually large amount of untranslated or un-digitized sources in German, which I couldn’t even begin to navigate. So a lot of what you’re about to see was only possible because of fellow UA-camr ‪@SirManateee‬. He’s from Germany and does a lot of content dealing with Imperial Germany and Central Europe which honestly deserves a lot more love.
