First and foremost let me just say a big THANK YOU for checking out my video. If you like my vids, check out my other vids and find me on facebook and twitter!
Right off let me just say, sorry for the sound of the snare drum, I got a little crazy with the reverb effect and I definitely think I overdid it a little bit. Still trying to get a good sound with the new snare head that I have on there. Also gotta get a good sound out of my toms as well. Still working on it all. So my apologies for the sound of the drums in this video, I'll have it fixed by the next one. Now, a little background on this video, I never thought of doing this song until the morning I recorded it because it's like half techno style and it's hard to drum on an acoustic set to techno music but it's still fun to do. Gives one the time to do some fun stick tricks (which I only know a few) and just have a good time. With that thought, I decided to do the song last minute and I wasn't disappointed with that choice. Thanks for checking it out!
Everything I do is a result of a one shoot through recording. All that I play is improvisation. What you see and hear is exactly how I did it. I call this a drum cover but it's not really much of a cover. It's essentially just me having a jam session to music on my computer. Hope you guys enjoy the vid. Leave some feedback! I'm all about feedback!

Finally someone who improvised the starting...suggestion though... The crescendo before the chorus, would work better with a crescendo roll on the snare with a fill to finish the bar...

Yeah I agree with you completely but this was 7 years ago. There's actually a few things I'd change with how I played this song. I used to just put a song on my computer, play it a couple times, then record it. I didn't put much time into actually arranging my drum part. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. Thanks for the feedback!

Years of observing and practicing. I never had legit lessons, I taught myself how to play.
