Hey Explorers! Please note: The boat dock for the island pickup is next to the casino by Renaissance Marketplace not the mall as I mistakenly said in the video. Also, I was able to stay here for FREE with Marriott points. @@johnadams1334 it depends on what, where and how much you eat. But for reference, I was there April 5 - April 11 and spent about $380 USD on food for all meals. Note: I didn't always eat on the hotel's property. Enjoy your trip to Aruba.
Aruba looks absolutely stunning! Your vlog has definitely convinced me to add it to my 2023 travel wishlist. Your last few videos have made me a huge fan, and I can't wait to see what you share next! 🤩🌴🎥 Like and support from Indonesia
Thank you for taking the time to explain the different parts of the hotel. That’s super helpful. The spa looks divine!❤❤❤ so nice you v Can use the different pools and restaurants at the other parts of the hotel.
Who doesn’t want a room with a full mirror and a Coffee Machine? Infinity pool, Water room and a Spa? Wow 🤩! Aruba has it all. The island scenery look absolutely stunning.
I went to Curaçao last month and after that trip, I was convinced to see Aruba. Your tour helped to convince me to start planning my Aruba trip. I definitely have to check out the beach with the flamingos. Did you find it expensive?
Right! I want to go all of the ABC islands now. I wish I had time this time. But I’m glad I spent the entire time in Aruba. Well worth it. And for expense, you should expect for most things to be more expensive due to the fact they have to import most things. As for me, when I went out to eat (for the most part) I felt those prices were comparable to home (ATL US). But the taxi costs was ridiculous!
I felt that "I ain't going back there " cause I said out loud "girl don't go back there" and then laughed out loud when you said it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 amazing video. Very helpful with our planning. Thank you
Hello, love your video. Thank you for sharing the difference in hotels. It's confirmed now that I will be booking for my birthday the ocean suite side, although it will only be my fiance and I. I like the sound of having more space in the rooms and I also saw on their website that there were bigger balconies with ocean view.
So of course now I’m thinking Beyonce 🤣😂 But this is absolutely on my list to visit & im glad you’ve suggested this place now! That was such a cute drink can & delicious looking pizza!
Great video, thank you! Did you choose their all inclusive option? If not, what were the drink and food prices like (and taste) if we wanted to eat on property occasionally? Did you explore anywhere else using their public transportation?
I did not choose the all inclusive option, I just booked directly through Marriott. For food and drinks on the property, the food was affordable or should I say similar to prices back home (being ATL US). But with my status at Marriott, I believe I got 10% or 20% off of food. For transportation, the hotel is near a lot of things so I could walk to those things in that area. But if I wanted to go to somewhere on the other side of the island, I ordered a taxi. Hope this helps!
What an amazing room tour! I like the little wall art in the hallway on your way to the room. I like that when you look over the pool you can't see the road only the water! This is a great review!!
I went solo and had a great time! But make sure you stay at the Marina Resort Building. This building is for adults only. The other building, you will run into more families and bigger groups. But you can go to both buildings when you stay at this hotel. And the food I did have there was really good but since it is right in Oranjestad, you can always go into the downtown to try different foods and drinks there as well.
Hi and you’re welcome! I booked this stay through some rewards I had. But going on Marriott’s website, it doesn’t appear this is all inclusive. You can visit here: all-inclusive.marriott.com/resorts-and-destinations or call the property at +297 583-6000.
Thanks for your video, I have a group of 21 going in August. Did you think the prices at the private Island was expensive? I have some who have all inclusive but a few who don't.
I don’t think it was expensive. It felt like home for me on the prices for drinks and food on the island (for reference, I live in Atlanta US). And if anyone is an elite member, you get discounts based on your level of membership starting at 10% off.
Great information and video, my wife and i went to Arube 23 years ago on our honeymoon and we stayed at the Divi all inclusive. We really wantbto fo bacj we loved it but we want to stay somewhere different. I noticed by the comments but i want to confirm this is a Marriott property? I also read that this is a all inclusive hotel but you don't have to go all-inclusive? Thank you Doug
does the hotel have a shuttle into town? I thought I saw pics of a little red bus/shuttle/trolley-my partner has some mobility issues and we are going to stay there next month, thanks
I booked my stay directly through Marriott at that time which didn't have an all inclusive package of that nature. So I had to pay for food on the island. I would suggest you contact the company you booked your package through to see if that is included.
Through Marriott, there isn't a specific all inclusive package but I believe you may find some through travel agents. You will need to check with them to see what is offered. Otherwise, you will get benefits on the Renaissance Island (where Flamingo Beach is located) based on status with Marriott. So for example, if you are Silver Elite, I believe you get 10% off of food and drinks at any of the Renaissance Wind Creek properties but definitely check with the hotel on those discounts.
Hey !! I’m looking to travel to this resort . I wanted to know how did you get to the resort from the airport ? Did they provide transportation or did you get a cab ?
Hey! That’s awesome! I loved this resort! I booked a round trip transfer with De Palm Tours! It was a little over $20 USD round trip. It is a bus so it could take longer for some hotels. But it was perfect for the Renaissance as it’s nears the airport! But the hotel doesn’t have airport transfers itself.
Is this not all-inclusive? I see it listed on a website as all-inclusive but there's conflicting info from that and what you share such as cost of water, happy hour, etc.

They are not all inclusive but you may find various packages with Marriott from time to time that includes resorts to help. Staying here can be costly. Pricing can fluctuate depending on the time of the year but for a room in December 2023, you can look at spending $300 - $400 USD a night (approximate). If you have points, definitely use them. And if you are a Marriott Elite member, you do get discounts depending on the tier level you are.
I am a Titanium elite member and plan to use my points for 5 nights. As an elite member do they have concierge lounge hours? Thank you and subscribed to your channel.
Unfortunately, I'm not Titanium elite so I do not have that benefit. But I recommend you call the hotel at +297 583-6000 before booking or before going to obtain this information.
just a short question: do you know if it's possible to visit the private island on the day of the check-out, if the flight leaves at 7pm (+/-) thank you very much ☺️🫶🏽
Yes you can! I know I did! But make sure you communicate that with the front desk. Or ask for late checkout. Or check out, leave your luggage at the front desk and head over. The key thing is that they will scan your key card to go over to the island. So you need to make sure that works.

OMG!!! That view is gorgeous. That sunset looks so good 🥺. Such a beautiful place. I loved the trail too. Safe travels.
It was so beautiful!!! Can’t complain about this property!
Who doesn’t want a room with a full mirror and a Coffee Machine? Infinity pool, Water room and a Spa? Wow 🤩! Aruba has it all. The island scenery look absolutely stunning.
Right! That full length mirror is definitely key! But this hotel is incredible! Thanks for watching!

The spa looks amazing and I love that they offer different hotels for adults only. Thanks for sharing! ☺️
The spa was really nice! That is definitely a great place to spend for relaxation during your stay here!
That island is absolutely beautiful! Super jealous that you got to experience such crystal clear water! Nice video!

Great tour. I went to a Aruba two years ago and said I was going to stay at that resort the next time I visit.
It’s definitely worth staying at! I loved it there! And I’m glad you enjoyed the tour!
We love staying at Marriott properties. This will be on our list for Aruba soon! Thanks for showing us what we wanted!
Oh yes! Definitely add this to the list as you will not be disappointed!

Great video.. Thinking about going in August.. Is this a good resort for solo travelers? How was the food at the resort?

Yes, this is a Marriott property! And I didn’t go all inclusive.

They do have a shuttle at the resort. But the resort is in right in Oranjestad which makes it easy to walk to things.
Since if I get an all inclusive meal/drink plan during my stay, does that include the food and drinks on renaissance island too?
I booked my stay directly through Marriott at that time which didn't have an all inclusive package of that nature. So I had to pay for food on the island. I would suggest you contact the company you booked your package through to see if that is included.
If you purchase all inclusive does it allow to get free drinks at flamingo beach
