Thank you for posting this, I don't know why but this event in specific brings back memories and feelings of my past that resemble the topics seen on the story. I have suffered from a really similar syndrome as the kid on the story and I know how hard it is to fight it, more so when you're enamored by your dreams. It becomes so hard to differentiate reality and fantasy and most people see this as absurd of childish but it can lead to really serious emotional and physical consequences... this song is a depiction of how it feels like having to let go of those fantasies with a kind approach but still believe in them. I got pretty emotional listening to this, Genshin Impact music director is a genius.

I just finished the event. Such a wonderful experience. It was an unexpected turn of events but it had a deep impact on me. Being able to let go… and that small moment when the fantasy and the reality collide in order to make a difference… this song shows just that.

this piece has this feeling, the child like innocence accompanied by melancholy and uncertainty for what's to come, the innocence of a child, fragile and so easily corrupted.

To be honest...I kinda relate to the kid...though i don't have nor had a similar illness as him...when I'm alone, i would have a huge fantasy world in my mind...i mostly feel lonely even if I'm around people I'm close with. If i talk about it, people will just say that i should grow up and stop having fantasies like this but i can't control it. It just happens the moment I'm alone or at school. It can happen randomly..
I have a big imagination too! I’m afraid to share it but I can share it if I write about it and use my creativity to make something super cool! I also randomly get ideas and I end developing it further as the day goes on, imagining scenarios in my head and trying to keep it in my brain until I have time to write it all down- which I can if no one interrupts me 😅 Also, this ost is so so calming with the music box feel ☺

It really sucks and I'm scared that people might call me delusional if i told them about it. I can have a really vivid imagination when this happens..like as if I can touch the things I'm imagining about. Weapons, butterflies you name it. I also cry about the things in my imagination at times...(Also, this ost is the most comforting thing I've ever heard)
Not to mention the whole event has a really comforting feeling to it since people can relate to the whole plot. It's my favorite event so far :D

from the very childhood i never got to hear these kind of lullabies; and my sisters got some twinkle twinkle little star songs that i always found annoying rather than relaxing. But this melody is really making me feel so calm and sleepy. As if i'm back to childhood and all my problems suddenly disapeared. I love this event so much

this event hits hard. swap the mother and child's positions, and that's what i'm going through rn. well for me it's not really my actual mother, just a caretaker but she's more like a mother to me than my biological mom.

i was genuinely surprised by the event like the past few events have been so mid i was not expecting much esp the story i was ready to click away but it was such a sad and sweet story like mental health, death and yet they still managed such a wholesome ending

The first time I heard this I just sat there for like five minutes just listening. I don't have an interesting story that is related to the event but just something about the melody and the music box jsut hit me in the feels. Genshin's music direction is just fenomenal.

The first time I heard this I felt a sense of solitude because how calm and clean the music is. I played this again when I was alone at night while having a smoke. Made me think of the time I tried to erase myself. Made me think of my parents, especially my mom. Made me think of the life I once had that I can't get back to. It made me feel bittersweet. I cried for a bit. It was a good release.
To think that a simple melody like this would steer up my emotions this way. Kept reminding me why I always played this game, even though at times I stopped because life kept happening.

when I heard this song on the event menu I burst into tears. I'm not sure why the melody feels so nostalgic, but I stayed on this menu and sobbed for a good 10 minutes. It felt weirdly healing in a way, after a long and stressful week I was able to take comfort in this melody. Props to the UI designers for this event, they did a great job.

See, i dknt want lo-fi music, i want genshin impact event soundtracks like this one right here. This is eyat the people want. Thsi sounds like tyat old music box that your grandma gave you when you were little that you just found in the attic now that you've grown up. This is the stuff you listen to for hours bc you found it in a box in your room while you were cleaning or packing up to move.
