Avicii will never die in our hearts
I feel that Tim would’ve been way happier & healthier as well as alive today if he didn’t become so famous. I don’t think he wanted fame & fortune but just to be able to create music. Tim was an introvert & seemed quite low-key & humble. Maybe that’s why he drank as an escape. It’s telling that he & his manager severed ties in 2016. Obviously their goals weren’t aligned. RIP

Agreed. I think at that level of success you just become a tool for making money, and most people in the industry see you as such. No one cares about you as a musician, and to a sensitive introverted person like him, that is hard to cope with.
That's pretty much it. He has even said that he hated being in the spotlight. Very insecure guy as well who had to force himself to just tour and tour and tour by pressure of his managers. Drank a lot to cope I imagine.
I agree, he shouldn't been in the business. He should had a career that would have not made him famous and keep him home , near his family. Someone should of showed him all the downsides of the career he chose before hand such as being away from his family and friends most of the time and how overwhelming he would find fame to be.
You speak the sad truth behind how much this legend was being mistreated, which was something that was heavily masked while he did his tours that all of his fans loved and cherished.
:( His music was a big part of my life... I am crushed and I hope he is in a good place right now. God bless Tim Bergling and his family.

I am impressed how he managed to tour so long as he did with these conditions of being introverted and struggling with anxiety. For years he managed to live constantly with these issues and it shows how strong of a person and a character he was. When he finally got to enjoy the fruits of his well deserved success in 2016 when quitting touring, and he got time to think a lot and take it all in so to say, he slowly started to realize the shallowness in people in general and the pressure of people close to him wanting him to get back to touring. I can imagine that he felt like many of his close ones valued him based on his musical efforts and touring, that people just wanted to squeze money out of him, even though this maybe in some cases wasn’t the case. Sadly he finally came to the conclusion that he wanted to escape from all of this, to find a place far away from all the shallowness, a place where he could truly find peace. Deeply in my heart I hope that he is now in this place, resting his beautiful soul.
People are incomprihensible. The way he shuts his eyes down at 2:35 is sad, he seems to not think he's 'a great musician'. Well Avicii, may you ever read this: you are, house is not my personal favorite genre but you my man are an absolute pioneer and made some great tracks that people have had great summers too. I also think you stayed true to who you are (Bromance). God bless.

Naw, yes he was insecure in some ways (especially with all the pressures of being a Top 10 most recognizable DJ in the world). But he was so sure in certain times in his life that he knew that he struck gold. When he showed his manager his early stages of "Levels" and performed Ultra 2013 with his country-folk/dance crossover show and received mixed reactions. But we all know how that turned out in the end with "Wake Me Up". I like that he finally stood up for himself, his health and direction of his artistic ways during his final year before his death (as shown especially in his documentary).

Same body but different at inside. I was watching his journey since 2010 and 2012. The smiles very different than before. I think he's already got an overwhelmed schedule by his career. It's doesn't fair for him, he only wanted to peace and enjoy his beautiful life and family. I never cried for a stranger like i cried for him. RIP, gone to soon 💔😭
