I’ve been a fan of Witchboard 1 and 2 since the VHS era. I own them both on DVD and Blu-ray as well. Witchboard is an awesome horror film.
I'm a big fan of CHUD as well. I have a big movie poster of CHUD on my wall. It's easily one of my favorite movies of all time. I watch it every single Halloween morning....for the past 11 years. I love the characters. I love the toxic chemical conspiracy theory. I love the dialog. I love the monsters. I love the sleazy urban decay of New york. I love the soundtrack and music. I just love everything about it. I'm a huge CHUD fan.
When it comes to my favorite movies of all time, it is CHUD, Mother's day, Cemetary man, Serial mom, Demolition man, Romy and Michelle's highschool reunion, Alien, Cobra, Suspira, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The ending to CHUD. Just perfection. Really really good tension in the final act.
The way the film switches to several scenes. Like when the grandfather at the phone booth is eaten, his granddaughter's distraught face. Cut to sunrise in urban decayed 1980's New york, play that really good music. Or the shower scene with the blood. Just perfect playing of the music. To me, it's never boring or slow.
My only complaint which is why CHUD I think mostly get's all the hate it does get...they want more CHUDs. They want the equivalent of Humanoids from the deep, The thing, The blob, etc...and I got to kind of agree. Would of been nice to of seen more of the CHUDs and to see them actually kill or eat someone. Rather then it all being implied and so forth...but even that I kind of like.
But the more I've thought about it....CHUD is more in the genre of Blue sunshine, Halloween 3, Blow out, Looker, Videodrome, Scanners, etc.
As one horror nerd in In search of darkness put it; talking about Halloween 3 "Tom Atkins in Halloween 3 is very interesting to me because he's like a 70's anti hero in an 80's post Spielberg plot."
Which is a genre I love.
And yes, I love that 70's-80's New york look as well. At least on film,lol.
You brought up Berdello of Blood....Ya, I am totally with you. I prefer Berdello of blood more then Demon Knight. I've watched Berdello of blood far more then Demon knight.

I always watch Santa Claus conquers the martians around Christmas time and I still can't comprehend how that is considered such a "bad movie". I always have a blast with it, and the inconsistent make up and ludicrous plot is part of the charm. Also....John Call plays a really good Santa Claus. I also like the 60's aesthetic....and that theme song "Hooray for Santa Claus" is just cheesy and very catchy. I'm still singing it in my head.

Dark Angel/I Come In Peace is so bad ass. My dad would always rent the VHS copy to watch when I was a kid. My wallet will have to grab a few of these after the holidays lol

I think Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things is in the Original Fright Night (1985). One Character stands out. I might be wrong though. Great Video Christain.

The Pennywise documentary I saw on Amazon and was really excited for my local movie store is back open so maybe I will be able to find it there Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things is on my list of releases to get never seen it plus Dark Angel is one I want to pick up I own Witchboard but haven't watched it yet plus The Kindred I have also the steelbook version but have to find time to watch Where did you get that awesome Friday The 13th mug Chud is another one I need to pick up I've never seen that one

just picked up the story of it on ebay with exclusive poster, unfortunately doesn't have a slip...what's the name of the screen company doing it with numbered slipcovers ? Really want this slipcase release. Also speaking of wwolves what are your thoughts on new SF release 'The Company of Wolves' have you done a video on that one yet? My thoughts on them are They are all great but different Stuff I rate 10/10 5 Stars they are really superb Blu Rays they are really great nice Blu Rays I'm definitely gonna onoy pick up Pennywise The Story Of It to see The Full on cage Making of The Movie to appreciate it being shown through the filmmaking process I vang wait to watch It Documentary I'll have My Mom order it next year next month in January it will be the first Thing and Blu Ray I have My Mom order The Commentaries of Steven Kings It 1990 Movie are okay they aren't as good since They just talk while The Movie is on its dumb because the Commentaries of Steven Kings It's 1990 Movie don't show full on cage Making of The Movie
