Found this on our family group. Absolutely delightful production. Definitely 12th gen. Yohan is a brilliant singer/performer for certain, and it seems she is too. Best wishes to all of you.
Was lovely to see Yasmin from beautiful Paris ..and of course the De Lanerolle bros and Kumar. interesting ,entertaining n educative . Enjoyed watching the kids sing and the talents passed down.
Well done Kumar and Yasmine. Brings memories of how you brought France to our living rooms in the 80s. Your contribution to the growing Francophiles of Sri Lanka is immense.
Once again a lovely show. Really impressed with this episode and how it was edited and coordinated. Lovely to see the sites while Yasmin travels around Paris. Great balance between humor and the history of French heritage in Sri Lanka as well. Looking forward to the next one!
Oh what a delightful programme. It was both entertaining and historically educative. It was nice to see Yasmin joining from Paris. All in all a skilfully interwoven show. Congratulations all round. (I also liked the Rohan and Kumar's funny bits too).
Tracing one's ancestry is always very interesting and when this requires going across oceans it becomes a lot more adventurous. I reminisced my own short stint at learning French, my visits to Paris and I must say it was a joy to hear Kumar and Yasmin and ofcourse Rohan and Ishan and their children. Esto Perpetua! Ranel
Why is the intro so long? I just skipper to the Laneroll brothers. Ishan was my classmate way back in 1997 at St Thomas' College Mount Lavinia. We met in 2011 in London. It was like no time had passed
Great show 👏. Enjoyed it 👍

Bravo, Yasmin et Kumar, pour ce programme original. Quel plaisir d'entendre les frères de Lanerolle chanter dans la langue de leur ancêtre.
