I got this lip paint... As a woman that wears makeup I feel you can't treat lipstick like you treat lip gloss. It's going to come off you'll have to reapply eventually but its noticeable unlike lip gloss

Also I think people are too used to these matte liquid lipsticks that dry down all the way that they assume this will too. It’s long lasting but it isn’t transfer proof. Personally I don’t get wanting a lipstick to last all day. I prefer reapplying it throughout the day.

Niki N there will be multiple shades for black women. It depends on a person's preference. For example, i do not like bright pink lipstick on pale people, but pastel pink looks nice. But i hate all blue lipsticks. People can prefer what they prefer and say what they say

I think it’s because some people feel red maybe too intense on black or brown skin tones ( silly stereotypes types) . It looked so amazing on her though. I am Black woman who adores red lips, so many tones of red to play with😍

It’s not transfer proof but it’s the best red I’ve ever bought and it will literally last forever in terms of the shelf life. It takes one dip to cover my big lips so that says something

If we want to talk about a longwear, food proof, water proof, transfer proof lip paint. The limmel 16 hour formula is life. It just takes forever to dry. The instructions say wait 5 minutes but really u gotta wait like 10-15 minutes before u put on the top coat. But then its there. Like i never need to reapply and sometimes i have fallen asleep with it still on and i wake up and its still perfect.
I agree, Rimmel liquid lipstick is the best and it's cheaper than KVD etc. Lasts the longest. Target has it.
Yeah but is it moisturizing? I've had long lasting lipstick that stays on, but feels awful. I just want to bite it off.😝
amiablehacker it more like puting on a second skin. U can tell its there and it doesnt really do anything special but it doesnt destroy ur lips either. If u dont mind it disappearing a little faster, u can put chapstick over it and it will stay on for a good 6-7 hours?
i have it and honestly it doesn't work for me ?? it feels really sticky and it's harder to apply than other lipsticks i have. it doesn't come off though
a _bi_tch it can be difficult to wipe off of u dont do it right. I find that saturating a tissue with baby oil or coconut oil will make it come off super easily.

It is long wearing, it just doesn’t dry down and it’s not transfer proof. It never claimed to be but we’ve gotten used to liquid lipsticks drying all the way down, usually matte and not transferring. This is just supposed to be a dope lipstick that has amazing pigment and lasts a long time. It will get on cups, straws etc.

Beth88892 Hate to break it to you, but a lot of us pale people have small lips which means application is a lot different than those who have bigger, fuller lips. Not only would we get an idea of how it looks on other skin tones (it’s marketed as a universal shade meaning it claims to work on every skin tone which I call bs) as well as how it applies and wears on different lip shapes. I myself would never buy this lipstick ever again, because the shade makes me look like a clown, it doesn’t wear well, and the application was very messy. I feel like it’s best on darker skin tones (knocks off the “universal” aspect), can be applied to fuller lips easier than smaller lips (I ended up having to clean and use a lip brush), and is very pigmented. It’s a good lipstick, just not for those who have small lips and pale skin. I’d compare it to the Kat Von D liquid lips, just more pigmented.

this is the perfect lip paint because it isnt streaky and dark skins like me have a darker lip color but i have a very light one because this doesnt get runnyy. ITS PERFECT

I love the colors but looking for transfer proof. So far only found that tarte is the only one I am satisfied with. I've tried dose of colors, milani, morphe...all returns.
I normally do not like red lip colors but this looks good on them both.
I have the lip paint and no matter what's on my lips there's gonna be chapstick under so whatever I wear always rubs off. I'd rather it not dry down too much because it'll dry out my lips. I like the lip paint but it is a little messy cause it's red and gets on your hands but it's comfortable and I can eat and it'll still be there
A little tip: If the colour of the lip paint is too overpowering for your personal taste, just gradually build up the colour by first applying a thin layer of it and smudging it evenly with your finger across the area of your lips. Repeat until satisfactory.
When she talked about make up as actual weapons; all i could think about was the lipstick laser from Totally Spies and the hairdryers they use as guns. I loved that show.
I think the issue is that they should have filled in their lips with a lip liner before applying the lipstick because it makes it last longer

Quinta with red lips is amazing. It's such a great color for her. I get having the feeling of people staring at your lips though. It takes awhile to get use to but really she look amazing with red lips.

If you guys want long wearing lipstick, LipSense is 18 hour wear lipstick. It's goes on as a liquid, dries matte, then you put the lip gloss over it to lock it in and moisturize. It literally stays no smudge or transfer for 18 or longer

I would apply it one time first and then bite my lips on a piece of tissue and reapply again. I guarantee you it’ll last until you wipe it off with makeup remover. I tried this lip paint last time I was in Sephora. Felt in love with the color immediately but Quinta is right. This color is not for everyday makeup look
I think true reds look good on all skin tones! I can see how someone who is used to a natural look would feel it’s too bold but it looked beautiful!
