Got my hands on Valheim recently and the game is awesome so relaxing to play and easily one of the best survival games. Your building skill and creativity are outstanding great inspiring video. I'm also building this starter home wish me luck haha cheers.
@@jstyle2136 I use devcommands so I don''t need to farm the materials manually, the builds take a while to edit, and although this build I could easily gather the materials in my saves it's just extra time I can spend editing :)
I really like the simplicity of it and as a starter house. I'll probably use the idea for starting on a community server coming up in a week. Always inspirational.

Alles gut und schön aber mach mal video wenn man kein creative modus hat sondern normal im spiel wo schon alleine die reichweite von Werkbank die grösse vom Haus nicht machen lasst, müsste man schon zweite stellen davon abgesehen das mit Glück kann man dreier wand Dachmachen ohne das es ständig in Brüch geht. Ich finde die Häuser richtig schick aber wenn man wirklich spielt ist es nicht machbar ohne sich stunden lang zu Ärgern.
The problem with Valheim is, the games mechanics makes all these houses pointless. Everyone's base is just surrounded by dirt walls or moats. Once you've defeated a few bosses, the raids and enemy AI just constantly agros and attacks your base. It's incredibly annoying and ruins the base building aspect completely.
this is no starter home cuz you know, you are not even in the bronze age when you start and here, you use things from the iron age. The amount of wood required for this 'starter' home is insane and you have zero protections from enemies. Properly label your videos next time. Something like useless good looking house that will be destroyed on the first raid...
Nice, but most of these building videos I find don't make a house that is weatherproof. Most of these pieces are getting damaged in the 400 hr rainstorms.
Hi, I used high end materials for deco because their really isnt many starter deco items, but the house design is very achievable from day 1, no iron required

A house aint a starter house with use of stone or tar in valheim, but Nice build.
the tar came after the build was done for decorative purposes.

Decor is insignificant. And the base home is just ordinary wood beams floors and walls with thatch roof. You can make this day one.

The logs you can just place on top of eachother, the beams need to be connected to a core log to be placed without the gap :)

it's kinda annoying that smoke can fill the house, but the fact it was programmed in was really cool. so I love and hate the feature.
