Lots of fun trails at McDowell Mountain Park! I believe the Cactus Cup Series is held there in March every year. Great event and I think there may be more events held there. Great video!
That’s sweet…definitely a great place to hold events…huge parking lot! And it’s cool how the loop trails all start right there.

This is a awesome riding area, good to hear they still race here. we used to race here. It would be the first race of the year to try our new equipment. Your riding is coming along great, KEEP it up!
Both loops look pretty fast and flowy. Some of those trails can be tricky as if you get out of the traveled lane those marble sized rocks can get slick. Looks like a fun spot. Thanks
Hit both the Long Loop and the Technical Loops today. Def cross country terrain but enjoyed the speeds and fitness piece. Average speeds over 10mph for an old fart like me "riding blind" is pretty respectable. 😊. Thanks for this video, getting tuned up for Hawes early this week and then going to Sedona Thursday and Friday for the Llama/Little horse loop, going to venture up to the bottom of White line trail and then do Little horse all the way back down. If that feels good then Hi Line the second day from Slim Shady, then Templeton back. Loving the trails ... heading back to VT at the end of March. 😊
There is some good riding near Georgia tho! Virginia is great, some really pretty and hard trails…however, I’ve never biked in GA tho but I’m sure there are some good trails
Don’t be sorry…I don’t live here, I’m from Maine but I am taking winter off and trying to find somewhere I’d like to stay…if that makes sense haha. Access to trails are important..so I’m just exploring basically! Next area will be Tucson …following weather around until spring when I can start to head more north back to Utah/Colorado….that’s the plan now but things are always changing!
I love this trail system!!
that back 1/2 of the Long loop is real nice - good speed with just enough chunk to keep you 'alert'
Haha yes I noticed that. It’s a nice place to ride and the views are great

The desert is so dreamy this time of year, headed to St.George 3-11th of Jan, hope it holds out, upper 50's in the sun is fantastic for this guy...
I hear ya…today it was 70 and it felt almost too hot for me! Haha

Awesome views. Great video. I wish we had trails like this in middle Georgia but our terrain here is so different

The MBAA races are a ton of fun. I did them last year. Good luck if you do the race, I'm sure you will do great!
Thanks! I’m sure it was a blast, races are great
🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
Lol
Love watching your take on a lot of local trails. Where are you from?
Maine
Sorry if you already covered this, but are you just passing through this desert region with your camper, or do you also live in the area?
