Awesome win on that $2 Break The Bank. My biggest win on a $2 ticket was $2,000 on the black version of Betty Boop in 2006. The odds of that was 1 in 400,000. In 2015, I found a $2 ticket on the floor at the Kyle HEB that was a $200 winner and that was the same day I had gone to the claim center to cash in a $5 Red Ball Tripler ticket that was also a $2,000 winner. Big wins are awesome.

I’ve said this before and I’ll keep saying it … he’s got the Midas touch! I’ve never seen “big zero” wins on the little 2 match side of the $50 loteria UNLESS it’s been like a big win with some matches in the big play area thing …. I’ve only ever really seen people get $50 or $75 in the little areas when it’s the only wins! But of course here comes Matt getting big wins all over today! I love it!! I wish I wasn’t at work and it wasn’t 1am my little girls would be so excited 😂😂

In 2003 I was working at a grocery store and we had just installed one of the Lotto machines. I was a regular ticket buyer and it was really convenient to not have to go into gas stations anymore when I could just get them after I got off work. I was talking to a coworker about it and told him to try his luck. I had just bought a Break the Bank and won I think $50 on it. So he puts his money in and hits the same button for another $2 Break the Bank. I was trying to talk to him about how if someone wins you should try another ticket since the next one most likely wont be a winner.
"I think I just won $200. Is this right?"
Dude had never purchased a scratch off, took the one immediately after mine, and won $200 freakin dollars. That has been a sour memory for 21 years but he ended up going on a nice date with the profits so it went to a good cause.
And ever since when I win anything more than $40 I go right back in and get the next ticket.

Two weeks before Christmas I bought a lottery pulltab. Yes they still have those. I’m from Iowa. It was only a dollar and I want 100 bucks off of it which was the top prize. What’s funny, though is at the IOWA Lottery doesn’t publicly announce the winning odds of their pulltabs, but they will for their scratch tickets.
