Love this rig! I have the Red one too. Yours did well in the snow! I haven’t had mine in the snow yet. Just out on and off the trail! Looking good my friend! Happy New Year!🍻🤩🎉!
Haven’t done anything on it. I think I saw on another video that it was NOT metal. The new version (R1011), that looks like a Wrangler, is advertised as all metal. It also has locking diffs front and rear I beleive.
@@p4ulfat1many seem to go with a Fusion SE 1800 for this. I have yet to feel the need to change it. I do a have a spare steering servo, but haven’t installed it as of yet. The steering was where I felt it struggled the most in factory form.
Looks very close to the Traxxas , performs well. I’m sure these guys will get sued into the Stone Age. How much was this in Canadian dollars ? I’m in Alberta
@@ryand4786 definitely worth the cost. Many upgrade the servo right away and many slap in a fusion SE. For what I do with it, it’s currently fine as is, since I don’t crawl very often.

Awesomeness. Yeah, with proper throttle control, even my son did pretty good in the soft stuff.
Excellent video, like the relaxed approach, great fitting music too. Subbed :)
@@basheuff5668 thanks man, I find it was well worth it. Haven’t been able to use it much lately tho 😭
Have you opened up the transmission and portals? Are the gears metal and a good material not pot metal? Cheers

@derekarsenault3652 thank you 👌
Hey man. Nice video. Got mine recently and killed the servo the first day and had to get a replacement. How did you make the End Point Adjustment?
Sorry to hear man. I haven’t had issues with it yet. I do have a spare servo on standby, but so far, so good, don’t need to use it.
How can we find out what protocol the tx and rx are ?
Unfortunately I can’t answer that question, however I can tell you that it has a Hobbywing 1060 ESC 🤷♂️
@@derekarsenault3652 yes it's a great rig but I have pulled out the tx and Rx to use my own, I am struggling to find a light module to use

Where did you get yours from? Do you have a link? Cheers from Alberta!
@@Michalisxc70 got it from Banggood. Used a coupon code that made much more affordable.
Almost same price as traxxas light kit 😄
Exactly lol. Works pretty darn good for the $$$
Cool vid! big like❗😃👍
Thank you :-)

I got with some coupons and such. Was around $320 to my home

I debated getting the v2 of it with locking diffs and metal gearing and such, but I’ve tapped out my RC budget for this year hahaha
Nice video
Thanks, trying to learn lol
Even the tx is a traxxas clone
Yeah, a lot of similarities. But from what I’ve seen in other reviews, the drivetrain isn’t on par with them
