genuinely baffles me how many people don’t understand how EASY it is to just say “it’s not for me, but that’s fine.” and then they shut up there. all the live action cast just constantly gets flamed in ALL of their comment sections, for what, doing their jobs? having fun? its so nasty. they deserve the world and i really hope they get their sequel

They are just spreading Monster High for the new generation and giving old fans what they want. Oh well. I have four of G3 now. They grew on me. Initially I was like "naah, not going to get them." And when I saw them in store. I knew I wanted them.
Its so hypocritical that people are hating on Gen 3 when it was literally made for a new audience. I even got Gen 3 Cleo today, and I have to admit that she is a very pretty doll. I was even impressed by the shiny gold parts on her dress. Sure the dolls' clothes are not Rainbow High quality or as goth as Gen 1, but they never were that high quality in the first place. Monster High always shone the brightest with its lore, theming, creativity, subtle representation, and characterization more than anything else. I haven't been able to watch the movie yet, but I am excited to watch the movie and show eventually and give Gen 3 a fair chance.
Im new to monster high (I was more into ever after high growing up) but Frankie really has brought me into the fandom. So far I have really liked the Frankie dolls, animated design, and live actor. I literally have been streaming their music video every day I can’t believe some people haven’t fallen in love with the character yet. Thank you for standing up for the actors and creators. Awesome video by my favorite doll collectors!!
I love this video! And I'm fully on board with G3 MH. I went from meh, mostly because of all the criticism online, to interested - because of you and Brooke - to full out loving them. Especially once I got my own dolls. Definitely the haters are gonna miss out.
@Angel - Yes! I cannot wait to expand my collection. My husband drove me 1.5 hrs just to get Toralei. New Lagoona is best Lagoona. Toralei looks amazing with all hair lengths. Clawdeen has a precious face. Why would anyone want to miss out on these. And nothing compares to seeing them in person. Ughhhhh. I want them all.

I just finished watching the movie. I had a really good time, Frankie was amazing and I loved the songs. I wish we got to see more of Lagoona, Ghoulia and Abbey though. I'm so excited for G3, waiting for them to arrive in Europe is tough but I'll be patient. So happy you got to experience the premiere with Brooke, your outfits were so cute. Love seeing my faves together. 🥰
I very much ADORE Draculaura's new personality, I feel like she has more depth and life to her. As much as I adore her, she felt very shallow before. Yes, her coldness at first was jarring but she turned out to be sweet and accepting, just wanting to also be accepted and not to mention from the first episode of the cartoon she comes off as very sweet and even shy, so the movie personality isn't even the same as the cartoon. Draculaura for me now is what I've always wanted her to be if I'm being honest, especially when it comes to the importance of Dracula in the monster world that they sorta downgraded in G1. I'm completely in love with G3 and I wish people would see it's merits and not just hate it because of nostalgia bc it's really interesting and the doll's new quality in fabric/sturdiness is impressive.
This 'reboot' gave me exactly what I wanted for the g2 reboot, something for original fans & something for younger generation. I think my biggest issue currently is how difficult it is to buy anything from mattel creations.
Would love to see more doll hunts with you guys, even thou you guys got the reel drama dolls sent to you, I would love to see you going to stores and buying more. ❤
Hi angel and Brooke i watched the movie on Nickelodeon and i loved it so much its amazing one of my sister's watched it with me and My oldest little neice who's almost 2 also watched abit of the movie with us. She liked it too. Im going to watch it again tomorrow. I loved Clawdeen, Frankie and Draulora in the movie. I love them all so much. The music was amazing throughout the movie. The storyline of monster high movie is amazing also. Im going to email monster high and Mattel and them then that i love the movie and how much it means to me. Rachel tinmanlover1994
