The fact that she can tie small, and what seems at the time, inconsequential things is what makes J.K a brilliant author. She did that in the Harry Potter series. You think back on all seven books and you go “ohhhhhh! So that’s what it was!” I will love to see where she takes this brilliant series. Fourth book as great as the first.
this woman is surely one of the most genius people in the world...she's just amazing...she surprises me every time...I spent like 15 years of my life loving Harry Potter universe and now I must admit I love these two extremely lovely characters!
I have loved these books, excellent writer mind bending plots. The wonderful Strike and Robin and definately the very best narrator Robert Glenister my favourite so far is Troubled Blood and Robert brings the characters alive and in your room . Excellent pairing.
The BOOK series is NEXT LEVEL! The series is not so good. I dont know why they didn't more then two episodes ? Why did they have to make it all rushed. The show definitely gives off a rushy vibe. Would be cool if they did like 5 episodes. Really get into the details. Make the audience feel like they really know the characters (like the books do)
I watched Strike first and have now read Two and a half audible books. I prefer the TV series. Agatha Christie managed to do many brilliant crime thrillers without having to write such long over detailed stories. And I prefer Tom Burke as strike than an ugly over hairy bloke.
Yeah I was surprised at how rushed The Silkworm felt. Two episodes?? All that info and they crammed it into two episodes?? If I had not read the book I would not have understood what was going on!!

Agree 100%. If anyone ever thinks HP is a fluke, just read this series and know how amazing she truly is.

The book had more details in it. In the series had alot edit details out which was a shame
