How to install a partial side part sew in weave by yourself with leave out. Easy. How to sew in your weave that looks natural yourself on your own head. This is a step by step self install tutorial from start to finish on how to put in a weave on your own hair yourself at home. This versatile sew in can be for beginners, short hair, or long hair and is done with out cutting the wefts/tracks which are sewn under the braids around the perimeter inorder to hide the tracks. I have found this to be the best braid pattern for side part sew ins. For a sew in that you can put into a ponytail or a high bun, just leave out hair in the back so you can put your sew in into a high ponytail or bun. Since I don't like to wear all of my hair up, I did not leave out any hair in the back.

Charmaine Espeut how did it go?
Shantel F My sister ended up doing my hair instead. It's nice but it needs layers
Good luck if you ever decide to do it yourself again!
Good luck (very late)

You taught me how to do my very first sew in back in February of this year and today I am attempting my second sew in. Thank you so much for this video ❤️❤️
Aw, You are so welcome!❤️❤️❤️
Your video definitely helped me. I tried it out. The first attempt I started sewing from the bottom go to the top but failed. But the second attempt when I started from around the leave out and worked my way down, it was definitely a success! THANK YOU!
Glad to help!
Thank you sooo much!! I did my first sew in and it came out great thanks to you! I saved $150!!! lol
I love this ! I do medium or big cornrows room . tiny braids is what causes breakages. this is so much more HEALTHY
Exactly!
You definitely remind me of the beautiful Gabrielle Union, good job looks flawless. Your natural hair is long and beautiful as well.😊
Thank you!! You guys are right, maybe just a little resemblance
You clearly is the best at explaining and showing everthing for us to understand, even at a young age on your old videos, I am going to try a crochet for the first time in my life tomorrow and all the videos I saw were nothing close to the standing of yours, you are amazing thank you so much for what you do Seun
I did it! I finally did it! I finally did my weave all by myself and it looks good😄🙌🏽 Thank you so much!❤💜
You're so welcome!
To be able to do your own hair is a real blessing!! My hair was breaking so I thought let me put it away in a protective style. Off I went to a local hairdresser...The weave instal was painful! After the install could feel such tension had to remove some tracks. Very disappointing! I told the hairdresser and her response was 'you're probably tender headed' and it shouldn't pull as you have leave out it'll loosen in a few days. I'm not sure if I should just take the whole thing out 😫
i feel you. You can still learn too!
Thank You, I just finished sewing on my weave. After 2days and some hours, I finally got it right
Practice makes perfect! Glad to help(:
I am doing my 1st one on myself and I looked at many videos but this one was The Best!
thank you for sharing.. great skills
Thank you! I am very glad it was helpful.
thank you so much for this video...especially the part of using Bobby pins to hold the hair in place. it made my work so easy though I covered my hair. also this is my second time fixing my hair so I spent a lot of time added with my toddler disturbing me. but I am proud of the hair I made. thanks again
Glad to Help!

Man that bobby-pin idea is fire. It took me 6 hours first time cus I didn’t know what I was doing.
It’s really boiled down to this in 2020... please pray that I do this successfully 😭

The bobby pins are a game changer if you are installing a weave yourself. Never thought of that great tips!!!
But the pins can scratch your scalp and irritate it much
giving gabriellle union teas😍💅🏾
(:
Jacadi Tillman she does look like Gabrielle!
& khandi from xscape
Jacadi Tillman she totally looks like Gabriel Union
Teas? What does that mean
Literally the best most detailed tutorial ever you actually showed how you sew the hair in and how you go under the braid instead of just talking like the others I've seen 🤗
Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful
BEAUTIFUL! and thank you for having clean hair and scalp doing a video!!!! I can't understand why some video producers show all their dandruff while making videos with all the beautiful clean hair they're installing. Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol, thanks
Some people can’t help if they have dandruff?
So far your the best educator I've seen. I have learned a great deal for myself. It's crazy, i have been doing other's hair for a good while and un able to do my own hair and with patience. Thank you for common since with teaching.😉
I love how the hair blended well together!!
This is an awesome how-to video. I have PCOS and it makes my hair thin and fall out. I’ve been looking into weave extensions for a while and this definitely helps! Thank you!
she's very pretty 😍😍
I love it, you did a very nice job and give me confidence that i can do my own hair, i did my grade school friend hair last night and it was my first time, i thank her for putting her trust in me and she loved it, i loved it. some things i could have done a lot better but i am glad she loved it that is all that matters, now i want to try on myself the more i do it, the better i know i will get good at it. i already did my own glue in and did a great job using two wig caps and not a lot of glue, it lasted for about two weeks. but thanks for this video, this is far about one of the best videos i have seen.
Thanks! Good luck! Or if you've already done it I hope it went well!

Nice video. I like the fact that you go straight to the point without talking too much.
So pretty 💘 that hair wow great natural texture
Thanks!
Nice...I've been thinking about going natural but after watching a couple of your videos I've changed my mind. You did well with the weave.
you can used a crochet latch hook to tuck the braids in between your own braids
I was thinking the same thing
Good idea! Although, I am wondering if the braids will stay securely in place using that method.
Thank you so much girl.. I just did my own hair for the first time.....period!
Aaliyah Williams how long did it take you to finish the whole thing ?
Aww, so happy to help!
You explained and demonstrated this very well. Thank you.

I definitely feel confident to try this out for myself now. Hope it looks half as good as yours 😊
very good just that the process looked messy but it came out beautiful
Thanks!! Yep, its a long process, especially when you can't see what you're doing
I've been watching stuff like this just out of curiosity. Never knew how a weave worked. You look fantastic, and you're absolutely an amazing person for being able to do this on yourself. I can't braid for nothing. You should think about doing weaves for people as a business!
Thank you!!
you look like Gabrielle Union little sister
one of the best videos I've seen as far as detailed directions
Glad to help!
Girl, you install yo hair??? Did you use a CD? or a USB stick? But in all honesty, your hair is unbeweavable.
Lol
lol honestly, this was gorgeous! looks great on you, girlfriend!
You did such a good job with this video. I appreciate the time you took to share on how you learned how to braid and how it became easier. Good job..
I can't even watch this video, all that hair of your own lol

Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. I like the way you tuck in your braids and sew them down with the tracks for an easy take down.
Thank you. Yes, exactly! It makes take down much easier.
all that hair you don't need weave
I was thinking the same thing. Her own hair is beautiful.

Most girls with sew ins have long hair. It's a protective style.
She's a grown woman, if she wants weave, she can put in weave
This has been the most helpful sew in install I've ever seen thanks
I am very glad to help!
Your hair is long as fuck
