Often thought of that strange crossover. Goblin Slayer defending a village on the verge if being over run by goblins lead by a goblin lord. Then a gate similar to Ainz's opens up and accidentally drops of Enri and a contingent of her Goblin Army. Immediately aiding the assailed village (due to her own experience with Carne village) . They exterminate the "wild" goblins easily and efficiently. Her own command presence breaking the influence of the native goblin lord. Then they go to help Goblin Slayer. He is confronted by Goblin Paladins, civilized and trained goblins and some sort of human-goblin overlord. Now what does he do? They represent everything the monsters could become and yet that power saved them. 😮
@@loganshaw4527 👍 yea. But they would be his greatest potential threat. Does he create contingencies that are basically fighting a "human like" army? Does he strike preemptively? Does he think goblins could have been domesticated into civilians and heroic warriors all along and ending them was too short sighted as a long lasting solution?

Enri is like a newbie player being given trash items by a random higher level player that makes her op in her low level range relative to the other newbies with starter gear. I like that the author included something similar to that in the novel.

He thought it a trash item but knew there were hidden interactions that the player base were meant to discover. Imagine how mind blown and terrified citizens of the new world would be to learn that the feared Sorcerer King once had a whole group of comrades who were equal or greater than him in power. So far I think the only ones who really learned that died soon after.
So I have a theory on how to trigger the hidden ability of the Horn of the Goblin General. I think it requires two main aspects. 1. Having a couple specific skills developed related to leadership in combat or military. Enri developed these by having command over the goblins for an extended period of time, and more importantly commanding people while defending the village. 2. Having control or command over a minimum number of goblins that possess combat skills to a certain level. Another key about this is the goblins must have had time to develop combat skills above what they are normally summoned with, which most summons don’t do. It’s only by being active in the world for a longer time than summons are usually kept and having gotten combat experience defending the village as well as defending against beasts of the woods that got the goblins to a level that would trigger the special effect. So my belief is that specific combination: leadership skills in combat and having goblins with combat skills above the initial summon that allows the secret effect to occur.
A thing about Anri is she was getting leadership class levels, not just farmer class levels. By the time the Giant of the East attacked she had levels in Sargent. I think by the time she blow the horn she had levels in General. So the implication is obvious. Such summon items probably were always meant to do this but since everyone built their characters like lone heroes that style of play just never got realized. I suspect it was never meant to be hard to build up such summon armies but the lack of imagination on the part of the player base led to nobody discovering what was likely meant to be a key feature of play.
One of my favorite scenes with her is when Narberal questions her why she came to the city and when Enri says shes beautiful like Lupisregina instead of continuing to look down at her like trash she sits down next to her.
😂🤣😂🤣 i love the fact that all she did was be nice to them and maxed out thier loyalty,. So when she used the horn a second time , she got a 5k maxed out level 40 goblin army It was enough to make Eins do a double take and be concerned
This was my favorite part of Overlord. However, it did leave quite a few questions unanswered: 1) (Answered by you) A village turned into a camp of a giant army. How can they support it? 2) (Answered by you) Now that she's in charge of one of the most powerful armies of the world, how does it affect the political landscape? 3) Niferia can certainly teach others to brew his potions, but there's a good chance that potion research will die with him. What will Ainz do? 4) Enri is the only pin holding everything together: the humans, the goblins, the ogres, etc. What does she plan for her retirement or death? Also, what will Ainz do? 5) The goblin army is exclusively male as far as I can tell. This raises two questions: I) What is planned for the long-term existence of this army? They will need new recruits! II) Have you ever seen a place with a huge gender imbalance and seen people being happy and peaceful??? I've never seen that. LOL. PS: When Narberal asked Ainz why he pays any attention to these worms, I would have replied in his place: They are all terribly weak from our perspective and their existence is fragile and shortlived, but look at them: The villagers were brought to near extinction, but they came back stronger than before and that in almost no time and with little support. That's the beauty I see. (Obviously, the Potion making and information gathering, etc. would be other key points)
Enri and Nfirea should be pretty easy to resurrect with low level magic, since almost nobody in the new world has spells that prevent that. All in all, Ainz gets a lot for just a little investment into their town.
What comes to mind is that Enri's descendants could be established as regents of the domain, in exchange Nfirea would have to be transformed into another long lived race like Renner was to maintain potion making research and would be driven out of public eye into Nazarick after some time or kept as an advisor for the descendants, Enri could also recieve the treatment swapping race but i dont think Ainz would allow it. As for the male goblin problem it could be that human women from poor backgrounds from farther territories are brought to mate with the goblins or payed as prostitutes or both (this last part is based on real scenarios from the past from history)
Give her more horns, as from my understanding Ainz has many of them, and I want Enri to have all the goblin versions of some of the key people from the Three Kingdoms period.
I mean if I heard the whispers that one of the greatest potion makers had to make a stamina potion to even hope to survive the nights with her. I would be more than a little afraid myself. Not because any thought I would have such an option but if she is that domineering in the bedroom , sky's the limits on her other strengths to be feared. Oh yea the goblin army would be worthy of respect as well.
When the Goblin army appeared, I couldn't help but laugh, first it was Aiz's reaction to their appearance and then seeing the actual army appearing from the side of the wall, while in the universe it would be considered insane but to us its pretty laughable as I didn't expect such a massive amount of Goblins to appear with various types, gotta wonder what would happen if Bloody Emily was given a third horn to blow upon??
It's been quite awhile since reading the novels. I remember it being written that they're were prerequisites on the person using the horn that scaled the summons. If she were to use a third horn, I'm curious what the result would be.
I once heard a theory that summons dont get XP so all that the goblins do from hunting and gathering all go to Enri as XP leveling up her commander class. This is why the second horn was so OP. Her total level being so high also explain why her husband cant keep up with her. Side not this could be an interesting way to level up any new worlders or for Ainz to get XP after using a super tier spell
Her weird growth in power and her ability to overcharge magic items could be the downfall of lord ainz. Remember, she turned a trash magic item into something that could summon an insane army. That was a LOT of goblins and not weak ones either. What's going to happen when she gets her hands on a legendary status item? Things would go off the chain very quickly
From what I understand, the game was purposely left without official walkthrough or guides. This forced players to create their own and develop information brokers. This added to the mystery of the game. So any item or ability may have hidden features. Couple that with the new World's ability to modify the game mechanics when manifesting it into its reality and anything is possible. That emotional cool down for Ainz should be a hint of that. That isn't "the game" as it's another world. And the fact he can deviate from the character build and script even if temporary means his humanity is at war with something at all times. 😮
I very much doubt she would get a legendary item and if she did, as long there's no threat to her or the villagers, it would likely end up in a box or something depending upon the size of the item in question!!
