- Soon it will be Paramount+ & Knuckles, as the streamer released the first trailer for its spinoff series of the “Sonic the Hedgehog” films on Thursday morning. “Knuckles” sees Idris Elba return to voice the eponymous grumpy echidna, introduced as Sonic’s foe-turned-friend in the second “Hedgehog” entry. Billed as “the latest in the cinematic world of ‘Sonic the Hedgehog,'” the first look also comes with the news that the entire series - totaling six episodes - will debut simultaneously on Paramount+ in North America on April 26. Additional territories will follow on April 27, with a Japan release slated for later on this year. For my insane reaction and more, watch this video today!

Yes we do. He has a name tag. Its Pachacamac, straight out of Sonic Adventure. He actually first appeared in Sonic 1's flashbacks as well to when Sonic was a baby.
Yeah, I was honestly surprised that SpeedSuperSonic doesn't even know who Pachacamac is. I think Pachacamac was Tikal's father, if I remember correctly.

Yes me too!! I can see why people got tired of the wedding scene in sonic 2, but I just think it makes it more unique from the rest of sonic media , and it gives adventure vibes which I love

Happy 30th anniversary to Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which is the greatest Sonic game of all time in my opinion. Hell, it's the greatest video game in general of all time in my opinion.

I have a theory as to why Pachamaca is still alive: perhaps as the leader of the echidnas he has access to the rings that Longclaw gave to Sonic, so when he saw that his tribe was losing in the battle against longclaw, He used the rings to send the survivors of the battle to other dimensions/worlds and with the last one he sent himself to the dimension/world that was earth because he already knew that earth It was a safe place, that's why Longclaw sent Sonic to Earth because those who were the leaders or those who will investigate the worlds with the rings knew that Earth was one of the most Safe worlds to go in case of emergency. That's why he is working at the bowling place because when he arrived on planet Earth he arrived at that place and he didn't go looking for knuckles because he didn't have any remaining rings to go back and see if knuckles were okay. I hope you like this theory.
If Pachacamac is alive then there is a Chance that Knuckles’ parents are alive.

Was the red car the one that sonic drove in sonic drift? Also super excited for the plot, it seems action packed, funny, and interesting. Many moves knuckles used in the games were already shown off, can’t wait to see more

I think pachacamac (the other echidna we saw in the trailer) is most likely going to appear as a ghost of some sort. I'd assume this means that tikal exists in the movie universe, but if she exists then does chaos also exist? I can't help but wonder how that would work in the movie universe.

And to think, 10 years ago we got the train wreck known as ‘Sonic Boom’, and 5 years ago we got rat face taking over the internet dashing anyone’s hopes for seeing Sonic succeed on the big screen. We certainly have come a long way, man it’s great to be a Sonic fan right now! 😊
First of all, Sonic Boom wasn’t a complete train wreck. Yes, the story and characters were.. bad, but thats because their main focus was the humor, and they nailed that humor hard. And yeah it gets harder and harder to look back at the thing with human teeth that could have sabotaged potential millions for Paramount if they didn’t listen to the fans. We’re eating good at last!
