I stopped changing my own oil about 35 years ago. No more shopping for oil and filter, getting oily, hauling waste oil back to town for disposal. I just have "the guy" do it and get a 20% Veteran's discount.
Reset Oil message - press car with i button, keep pressing until you get to the oil life, now press and hold check mark button until oil life is back to 100%.
hello. good evening. i have a 2001 gmc sierra 2500 duramax 6.6 diesel with 246k miles. the oil pressure is 20 all the time at 600 rpm, but just by accelerating and raising the rpm to 1000 or 1100 it already goes up to 45 or 50 the oil pressure and even reaches 60 if they raise the rpm to 2000, do you think it is Is this normal or is there a problem? doesn't smoke or anything

Any shoes will work;)
Floppies
He over tighned the drain plug which could flatten the dp washer. Also, I always fill the oil filter with oil before installing it
Thanks for your feedback Thomas!
You can’t fill an oil filter that mounts on the side.
For what purpose?
18 ft/lbs for the oil plug 😀
no - 18 ft/lbs for the filter. 62 ft lbs for the plug @@plantguy902

preciso da culatra completa.
Merci!
You really should fill the new filter with at least half fresh oil before installing. Diesels are different
Thanks for your advice Christopher!
For what purpose? I got to hear this lol
supposedly engine gets oil sooner as the flow doesnt have to stop while oil filter fills up.. @@dankane8625
Clean that nasty truck
Friend of mine will get offended if I will keep telling him that over and over again)))
Fram filters are horrible, pretty much any filter is better. Engines are expensive, filters are cheap!
Great point!
