@@F0XW1LD thank you for giving me and many others such a great childhood experience :) you made 8 year old me so happy. as an 18 year old now i can promise that i still look back at this game and reminisce on all of the friends i made, all of the quests, everything. this was by far my favorite childhood mmo i've played, thank you and many others for making that happen

You never know how important something is in your life until it’s taken away from you
I’ll forever be thankful of the great memories of How to train your Dragon. It shaped my childhood and would do it all over again

Riding on the back of a dragon with the wind blowing in your face, not worrying about negativity and what’s bad in the world is what true freedom and peace is and this game accomplishes that. Long live all of our dragons we raised in this sometimes glitchy but beautiful game. Long live them all.

This game was a giant part of my life... I'll miss this so much, I still can't even imagine that it has come to an end... This is not just the end of a game, is the end of a era. Our dragons will be missed forever. We made a huge history, build, tamed, learned about dragons... Goodbye School of Dragons, thanks for making me laugh and rage so much with all the glitchrs. Despite the bugs, I enjoyed it so much to see my dragons grow, fly around, fight... As someone who played this for the 10 years it lasted I will miss this game a lot. Thank you for making this video, Silver, and thank you SoD, for everything.

This game was part of my childhood. I will miss my dragons, playing with random people online, and playing with my friends and family. So, although our dragons are making their final journey to the hidden world, the memories will not be forgotten.
It's still so difficult to accept that it's truly going to be gone for good. I started playing less and less, but it was still always there for me when I wanted to come back.
I have over 1.7k hours logged on this game, much of it grinding away for event dragons, racing through the various tracks as I listened to music and imagined my dragon gracefully dancing through the air, or creating a Dragon Tactics juggernaut (and that's probably a drop in the bucket compared to many). Heck, shortly before the announcement, I was thinking about what sort of dragon would be offered for the upcoming Summarhildr event. This game was full of bugs, but I adored it when it did work. From the hype of waiting for the teaser of the next big event, to the simple unspoken trend of lining up side by side with a stranger as you fire shots at the wall for no particular reason, this game had such a unique joy to it.
I'm still quite upset to see it go, but it's definitely worth focusing on the fact that we got to experience this in the first place.
Hopefully, there will come another game like School of Dragons, and these wonderful memories can be made once more.
School of dragons really made me happy in bad times like when all of my grandparents died. Now it's just gone and I can't believe it, I'm literally crying right now. I played it since 2018, my toothless was my everything. I really loved this game, it was great, yeah, sometimes there were some bugs but that's okay. Sod wasn't perfect, but it was enaugh to get an important piece of my life. Thank you Jumpstart for creating this wonderful game. Rest in peace, school of dragons ❤❤❤

May not have been the most perfect game ever, but when you grow up on it, you don’t care. This game was a big deal for me in my young childhood, and I was especially excited to get Pouncer. I'm a bit late to comment, but I just wanna say how grateful I am this game existed.
It was the beginning of EVERYTHING for me. I found my dearest friends and a place I could escape to, during my darkest times in highschool.
Once I quit the game I actually didn't give a damn about it, but coming back these past few days has been such an amazing feeling...
Meeting with people, flying together, dancing with our dragons and recording all of it, has been so much fun!
I had never realized how much this game meant to me until now....

Thank you for raising us young riders and making funny memories. Although this was a disaster of a game, there really were some hilarious moments. My personal favourite was when you could kick the chickens in the maze.
Httyd and SOD was and still is my childhood. I am so happy that I got the chance to build my own world and to fight for all gems in battle to buy all dragons I love so much. I am also so happy for all players that is sharing my interest in this game and the movies and series. Even if we now have to say goodbye to our dragons and they fly to hidden world to live their own life I will never forget them, just as New berk people never forgot their dragons. In times like this I use to think about my life motto: "When you feel sad, remember that the world is 4,6 billion years old and you managed to excist at the same time as how to train your dragon".

SoD didn't mean anything to me anymore for the past 6 years up until 2 weeks ago.
As I said earlier already:
"Ima miss it. Even though it's time and I'm glad you're 'free' now.
We've met each other in this game, so many years, so many memories.. Kinda just closing a chapter".
We basically got a slap in the face, several years of us meeting each other and becoming friends is coming to a close.
I'm just happy to know I'll be keeping the friends I made along the way, even though the game we met in will be gone soon

This game was my entire childhood and has been a part of me for years. It has allowed me to meet new friends and even bring old ones closer. I'm so sad to see it go as it is really the only good httyd game out there. Even though the game is gone, the memories made will always be remembered. Always and forever SoD.

I want to thank you. I had a pretty rough childhood and your videos are one of the fre things that brought me joy during the darkest times in my life, I loved dragons and httyd and sod but never had money to buy anything so I was fairly restricted. Eventually I fell out of touch with the game but still checked up on this Chanel every few times a year, it's sad to see it go but I understand why, also playing it again the last few weeks made me remember how bad it was😂. In all seriousness I truly do hope the best for you and whatever you decide to do after this.

I have a couple of mine and Ruffrunner's final pictures together in our favourite locations, I had to let go of him in the hidden world, I took his saddle off and stayed with him till the game automatically shut down.
