Hi! I've just given my interviews last week. I got a call from the talent team saying my rounds were cleared, but due to some technical aspects with their system they can't release an offer till May. I have not been provided any confirmation besides the call. Is this normal procedure over at Deloitte? How long did they take to issue your offer letter or confirm your joining?
@@purpleora_canainagoel I had a pretty bad experience overall. My interview was scheduled for 16th and 17th April. They gave me verbal confirmation that I had cleared the rounds, offer letter will be given after business approval. I checked in after like 2 weeks, because they weren't responding. They said business approval is here but your notice period is too long, please provide confirmation that you can join earlier as we need you asap (still no offer letter). I put in my resignation at my company and let them know. Again radio silence, I was calling and checking and they kept saying due to some technical difficulties offer letter can't be sent yet. 1.5 months go by and they send me a documention email on the portal itself. This made me feel like "okay this must be totally finalized then" and I do that and let them know that its done (still not received the offer letter yet). They go radio silence again. I keep checking in but no proper response about anything and then finally after all, at the end of June they tell me that they have no certainty about when the offer letter will be released and that I should take any other offer I might have in hand at that moment. The unprofessionalism was insane. Absolutely abhorrent experience with Deloitte. They did come after another month that they're ready to make an offer to me and sent it in an email with the joining date being another two months away. So the process started in April and would end in September, meanwhile they wanted me to resign as soon as possible without having any idea about when they would bring me onboard. I told them where they could stick their offer letter and job offer.
@@kushagraverma7509 ohh noo, that's very unfortunate. You can maybe look for other opportunities as well if this is causing you trouble, just a suggestion. I have not faced and not heard of this situation with anyone before but yeah that's really stressful.

how can i prepare for interview in deloitte usi external audit if my entire articleship exposure was in Internal Audit only?

Umm not heard of this kind of situation before, in my case, I got offer letter in a week. I guess they might have some issues.
