  • I personally use the workhorse 2 plotter. This is the way I set up blades and blade holder for my plotters. I’ve used the Titan 2, workhorse, workhorse eco as well as the workhorse 2. Blade set up is the same.

    Kev, I don't use a plotter but I watched this whole video. I'm still a hand cutter but I definitely learned. Thanks brother.

    best regards.

    You are the best at helping out, thanks again. Just saw matt's video about the plotter being on the edge for 24" rolls like the 36" roll. Does the Workhorse 2 handle those rolls better? If possible can I come over to take a look at the workhorse sometime next week or so?

      Hey. Thanks. I believe my Workhorse 2 rollers are set up the same as the Workhorse Matt has. But I’ve always used 40” and 20”. I’ve order a 24” roll to try on it as well. But you’re more than welcome to come check my machine out anytime. Just let me know when.

    Hi. I am looking to buy the workhorse plotter for my fiance. Would the 28" be good enough to put standard rolls of tint on for vehicles? Or would he need the 53" one? Im trying to surprise him so I am quite confused lol.

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  Рік тому

      No worries. Awesome surprise!! So the 28" will work great if only looking to cut on 24" rolls. Which will do all side windows and most SUV and Pick up truck back windows. If wanting to be able to cut out rear windshields on cars, you'll definitely want the 53". Most people do want the ability to cut out car back windows so I personally would recommend the 53". But the 28" is a good starter option if he wouldn't mind having to hand cut larger windows. Let me know if you have more questions.

    On your other video for tint depot when you said you are trying gorilla tape on your plotter did you put it across the entire length of your cut strip or what did you mean?

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  2 роки тому +1

      Yes. On top of the original cut strip from one end to the other.

    • @isaiahwillis5082

      How do you like the tape over the strip so far notice any improvements or anything?

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  2 роки тому +1

      @@isaiahwillis5082 Not sure yet honestly. Cleaner cuts but sort of spotty. Gonna keep messing with it and see how it goes.

    I feel like I’m real close to dialing in my blade but for some reason it cuts through on one end more than the other but only in some areas it’s weird bc it doesn’t cut through on my “test” cuts only when I cut the quarter glass. Any help would be appreciated thanks boss

    Does the workhorse come with those led lights ?

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  2 роки тому

      Would be cool. Right? But no. I added those. And that’s the workhorse 2. The top opens making it easy to add led lights.

    Whats a good speed

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  2 роки тому

      I recommend 252mm speed in general. I run mine a bit faster cause I've had it a while and have tweaked it enough to be very reliable. That faster you run it, the more errors can occur.

    Do i have have to move the motor before a cut or can i set origin

    • @onpointprostyles
      @onpointprostyles  2 роки тому

      You'll need to set the motor/carriage where you want it to start cutting. It will start and stop there every time after.
