Hi sorin, I'm a very good fan of your Chanel and I will like to specially thank you for your good work and for all the effort you put in uploading all those educative videos. I must confess, your videos has helped me alot in my repair business. As a matter of fact, I have more than 80% of your videos downloaded on my device. But dear Sorin, I will love it if you can do a video on How to disable SHORT Protection on a power supply. I recently got a new power supply ( 1502DD series) but it's seriously limiting my work becos I can't use it to find short on any shorted iPhone. Thank you so much for your contribution and help towards my successful electronic repair business. ....................Your very good fan from NIGERIA.
Hello Sorin, I'm happy you're back. 36°C in London is way too hot indeed. But I'm happy you soon will have the winter back. Meanwhile here in Vitória, Brazil, unfortunately we have 32 °C even in our "winter". Hope that someday I could live in UK.
Wow,nice to see you again invirtual world Sir Sorin, avid follower here from Philippines..thanks to all of your video its educate me a lot and update my so called Electronics skills..😅😅😅😅
I'm still learning, I learned so much watching your videos. I hope you upload something more challenging. But it's always nice to watch your videos. Greetings from kentucky
About the Lenovo you fixed: the ramping up/down LED in the power button indicates that the system is in sleep mode. And, yes, it should react to the power button but it didn't. But the super-io was not totally frozen, because the led was ramping. I think, this laptop could be 'fixed' by holding the power button down for 8 to 10 secs. That would do a full reset and powerdown. After that, the laptop will start normally if you'd push the button.
In the U.K. when the weather is hot in the city's you get no breeze so the air you breathe is warm. Elsewhere France and so on you get a breeze you can see the trees moving from the wind and so on but in the U.K. that does not happen it all becomes very still and sticky hot.
Hi, I watched your vid. Great stuff. I never thought about using hot glue with a hot air gun :^) First time on your channel. You were talking about a solar system. I powered my house from a bank of truck batteries for a few years, but it was never going to be right. In the end, I sourced some deep cycle batteries at a great price in Europe. Chalk and cheese. They work for a long time and are very stable, and not as expensive as you might think. If you are interested, I will dig out the supplier's contact, just ask. Anyway, I enjoyed your vid, very informative, and no nonsense, thanks!
hello ! I'm repairing an HP computer so i saw a shorted mosfet with ice spray but when i change it, the power supply gives me 0.64 Volt. Also with anoter computer, how to test the mosfet please ? Because when i disconnect power supply and i check in diode mode the source and the drain of a mosfet, it's cut. So i would like to know how to test if the mosfet is good thanks :D. Also is it possible to short a mosfet between source and drain to test if it powers on ?
Hello Sorin, My Vaio multiflip (touchscreen) is turnnig to magenta , so I think the green is missing (blue is ok). There is no damage on te laptop no scratches and so on. Using HDMI to duplicate the screen this second screen is perfect. Shall I look for the problem in the screen? Thanks for your instructing video's. Greet's from Antwerp Belgium.

This all started after liquid spill but I cannot see any visible damage.

Hi Dear Sorin,Toshiba satellite C650 Model Laptop - Display goes off after 4-5 minutes of working. Fan is clean. Heat sink normal heat. Cleaned CPU and GPU and applied new thermal paste. Works for sometime, but again display gets off. Power LED and charging LED still glows. But No display. Could you please advice what could be the issue.
Hello Sorin and wellcome back. Thanks for all your educational videos. Normally with lenovo (and others) laptops with built-in batteries, there is a pin-hole in the bottom to reset the CMOS without opening the laptop. I see one pin hole at 6:39 in your video. Its in the middle strait over the screw. Please confirm. Thanks.

I would be surprised if those hinges last more than 1 month with a daily usage. It is cheap for the customer, but as soon as it fails, the customer will be angry for paying for that job. Better a lower profit (replacing hinges and backcover) than having an angry customer.
