- Today I test ride the small Supermoto Aprilia SX125 with full 15 HP.
A lot of fun on two wheels!!!
But: Is it more suitable for the road or for off-road. What do you guys think?

I love my sx ive got the same bike, and yes my bad points are, no fuel gauge no gear indicator and seat uncomfortable on long rides, apart from that, i love it and thanks for the video 👍

Supermotos aren't designed to be comfortable. And you don't need a gear indicator. You'll never learn properly just depending on a counter. But if you really want one. You can purchase one

Those gravel roads are perfect for the SX, the RX is for "real" offroad riding

I ride rx 125 in Nepal. Its a fun to ride. For me the nagative is the fuel capacity just around 7l and being FI engine we can only use around 5l.

RPM is the only problem, i would like to know if im redlining in 6th gear if i was on a long road to be honest
There is a category of moto sport called supermotard, even a WIkipedia search turns up a nice article for that (which sums up my knowledge about the category, pretty much...). It pretty much is a mixed race, where the bikes have to go on and off road and I don't know what else, that's what this (RX?) bike is made for. It is a hybrid, pretty much, it performs well everywhere. That's my understanding.

Does anyone know any brands that I can upgrade for this bike? My mean: shock absorber, clutch, brake ... I had to search all brands like wp, ohlins, puig but no results.

Hi, do you know what the gauge at the bottom of the display is? e.g. Fuel or battery level
Interestingly enough, this is a coolant temperature gauge. This bike does not have a fuel gauge, only a fuel warning light.

Hi everyone. I have an Aprilia SX125 2022 and now there is an issue with it that I need you all to suggest me. My bike is easy to start when it is cool. But after it gets hot and I turn the key off, I cannot start the engine after 2 ~ 3 minutes. Is this issue from spark plug?
Had the same problem with my American car. They never found the error :(
My bike was fixed by replacing the fuel pump relay at Aprilia dealer.
I have the RX 125 2021 model, it’s quite nice, but if you’re not super tall, I’d recommend a smaller bike.

@@tripwarrobots8157 sorry for the late reply, but no, you shouldn’t have that big an issue, and sure, you can lean, besides, the SX ir a bit shorter, on account of the wheels

@@ministerofsimps4624 I just called few dealers and the sx 125 is not street legal here in California 😥 also no one seems to have the ssr xf 250 dual sport in stock. For 3500$ it's a steal these new Husqvarna and drz go for 8k about. Have u seen the klx300sm ? Nice bike too might go for that one

What's the oil change and valve check interval for this and the RX version?
The first one will flash at a 1000 km that’s when you have to take the bike to the official dealer and they’ll change the oil, lubricate the chain, and delete the error

First oil change is 1000km/621miles. Then every 3000miles. Valve clearance is at 3700miles.

Yes, I think it has an indicator light for the fuel.

@@rizla8602around 20miles. I'd highly suggest not getting it that low to many times as you'll risk damaging the fuel pump.

unblocked sx has 21kw… and everyone unblocks their bike… so thats probably the reason
@@riba69a 4 stroke won't make 21kw. The 4 stroke isn't restricted. The 2 stroke sx makes 33ho on full de restricted

Hello, there is a fuel light coming on telling you've got a few more kilometers in the tank.
Fuel light. Or common sense to check fuel trip or open the fuel tank cap to check fuel...

Not sure, the seat is not too comfortable. If you can live with that?!?!
I own one, 2018 model. It was my first bike, very good for beginners. I agree that it is not comfortable that much, but it never really bothered me. I definitely recommend.
2 days ago i bought 2021 and its so fun and its not that uncomfortable ( bad engl)

It looks a bit "budget Bike" to me ..... Not really impressed . The best Aprilia 125 "Enduro Style" Bike was probably the 34.5bhp 1991 Aprilia RX125 .... Now that is a fun bike ! , The Best Supermotard style 125cc Bike probably the 1992 Cagiva Supercity .
