This performance is un-describable! I feel i am in presence of MOHAN.. Bhaktibhav, singing artistry, melodious voice, command over Bhairav is beyond superlative.. i can write more, a lot more and still it will fall short to this rendition. Jai ho Pt Venkatesh Kumar

For those who appreciate Hindustani classical music Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Ji is much bigger than Bharat Ratna. Recognition of genuine talent is not limited to those who are awarded these (somewhat politically driven) prizes but by how pure an artist's art or creation is. And by how much they are revered. With due respect to the award, I'd revere Pandit Ji as much even if he wasn't awarded Bharat Ratna.
