You’ll need the following materials:
Stretched Cotton Canvas Size 8 by 10 inches
Acrylic Paints: Magenta, Medium Yellow, Light Green, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, Pink, Light Purple, Titanium White
Brushes and Tools: half-inch thick Masking Tape, a half-inch Flat Soft Brush, a number 1 size Detailing Brush, Sponge, Tissue Paper

Visualize and outline a zigzag pattern on the canvas, then firmly apply the half-inch masking tape over these lines, preventing paint seepage underneath. Repeat each section until the entire canvas is adorned with your zigzag design.
Now, the real thrill begins! Dispense drops of various acrylic paint colors onto each masked canvas section. Utilize a stationary sponge to spread colors within the boundaries, ensuring no delicate intermixing.
Let your creativity flow! Alternate sponge sides when applying different colors to prevent blending. Experiment with brushes to distribute the remaining colors, discovering your preferred technique. Remember to cleanse your brush after each color switch.
Patience is paramount! Once all sections are painted, allow the canvas to dry thoroughly. Then, gently peel off the masking tape at a 45-degree angle, avoiding tape tearing or paint lifting. Touch up any imperfections with a small brush and matching paint.
Ensure your painting surface is clean, dry, and dust-free for a flawless finish before applying masking tape. This practice enhances tape adhesion and prevents paint seepage.
