NDTV's Maya Sharma talked to the students of Bengaluru's School Of Humanities And Social Sciences to understand how the violence in Jamia, AMU has affected them. The students open up about how they only demand peace among all religious communities.

Because it deals with only three countries and these three countries bare over 90% Muslims. Muslims won't get persecuted in Muslim majority country so there no point in including Muslims of Pakistan. Muslim of Pakistan will never seek refuge in india after being persecuted for being a Muslim. So all this humanitarian fuzz is nonsense. CAB technically not deal with Indian citizens.
But issue comes with NRC.

It is demonetization all over again resulting in a large section of society losing citizenship because they have no document to prove their grandparent's birthdate before 1971. I am a kashmiri pandit my grandparents fled kashmir in 1990s most of them did not even pick their documents how am I supposed to provide for my grandparents birthdate before 1971 or how is a poor kashmiri or a bihari supposed to do the same. Even if they can they have to take a week off from work jumping over hoops to prove their citizenship. How is a Bihari flood victim supposed to gather all the documents he has about his parent's birth certificate which got taken away by the river. Or a tribal who has no birth certificate supposed to do it. It is a stupid, foolish move to give some Hindutva people some satisfaction that the government is making the life of Muslims harders while harassing the common population. It is divide and rule like always BJP is trying to divert the issue and make it a hindu-Muslim issue while at the same time making a mess of Indian economy. We haven't seen a lower lover lever of growth and unemployment since 1998 that tells you the state of India at this point.

There's one major flaw in your argument. The rules that applied when NRC was introduced in Assam cannot apply for the whole country IF NRC is made mandatory for the whole country.
Those rules only apply to Assam. It may be similar, but let's not assume anything. There's a specific reason for the cuttoff date being 1971 in Assam.
I've already seen some bs social media posts shared by my own friends that apparantly all muslims would need to prove their citizenship and if they can't they'll be sent to dentension camps. And Hindus and Christians etc, will be allowed citizenship even if they cannot prove citizenship because of CAB.
All of this is bs. People deliberately want to cause chaos. I can't stand it.
This bill will only cause problems and discriminate against muslim immigrants. Not Indian muslim citizens. We should only be critizing this NRC law for being fundamentally flawled. Not CAB. And they're not related to each other.
