Saw your video on this air compressor about 18 mos. ago and subscribed to the UA-cam acct. Soon thereafter you notified me that it was significantly (temporarily) reduced on Amazon and I snagged one. Have been using it ever since and love it! No more tire pressure anxiety! No need to winterize since I live in Florida. Thanks for the heads up, guys!!

We bought the Viair shortly after you reviewed it the first time, works great. The only negative is the pistol grip is hard on my hand. I find I have to wear a glove or my hand gets sore. At times I wish it had a 110 option, would like to use it away from a 12v power source. We have a long list of products we've bought because of your reviews. Thanks and keep up the good work. We look forward to all your videos.

I agree with you about winterizing using compressed air, but the water pump is not cleared of water when using air. I end up using RV antifreeze to fill the water pump and fill the traps throughout motor home. Great video as always.

One of the reasons we haven’t been as motivated to make more is that they’re often not as well received or viewed, since (we assume) most people are kind of expecting how-to and DIY stuff from us. We appreciate your input and will try to do some more of those. You’ll be happy to know that we already have one of those “in the can” from our current travels in Eastern Canada which should be our soon. We also have a (sort of) secret RV trip planned next month where we’ll definitely try to capture some of the destination, including the RV itself, which has a steering wheel on the passenger’s side! I love my Viair package, but who designed the hoses? They're not the same. One is the "master" hose and the other is the "extension", so the connectors are different. Okay, I got it, but the connectors are difficult to latch and while hooking up the two hoses, they tangle around each other until I'm ready to throw a fit.

We have tried just about everything, and have never found a way to completely prevent mice from getting on board. Instead we always keep a few traps set in the basement and check them regularly to make sure we catch them quickly before they can do any damage.
Viair makes two different RV models: the 400P-RV and the 450P-RV. The 400 has a higher flow rate, so it fills more quickly. The 450 has a 100% duty cycle so it can be used continuously. If you are someone who lowers your tire pressures very far down to drive in sand for example, and then need to refill them with large volume of air afterward, then the 450 might be for you, since the 400 can’t run continuously for extended periods. For us, topping up a few pounds here and there as we move around the RV, with breaks in between each tire, we prefer the 400 as it more quickly adds the air we need, without exceeding its duty cycle. It’s also a little less expensive, so that helps too!
Wondering if you can help me "assemble" my own winterizing kit. I already have the attachment that goes into the trailer (blow out plug) as well as the pressure regulator I use when I hook up to city water. Can you give me good instructions on how to pick the best pressure gauge? What else will I need? I'm just trying to save a few bucks since I already have 2 out of 4 parts but if you'd recommend just buying the kit, I'll take that advice too. Thanks for the great videos!

Hi S. Sorry you're having trouble. The simplest answer is to try clicking the "Back" link located somewhere on that window showing the "Login to your existing account" text and try using a different email address. If that's not an option, that "Login to your existing account" screen often also has a logo for a social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, UA-cam, etc) that Gleam somehow has connected with your email address. You usually just need to click on that icon and log into that third-party service using whatever account is also tied to that email address (for more information, see here: gleam.io/docs/faq/contestant ). But going "Back" and using a different email address is probably easier. Hope this works for you,
Looks like a nice product. I am not that familiar with the entry mechanism. The form on the web page at this moment is showing an astonishing 161,500 entries! That compares to 6,400 video views. I am curious as to what drives the high entry number. Jokingly, my best guess is it is multiple entries from Russian Bots trying to win an air compressor for Vladimir. More seriously, I am thinking the process allows multiple entries from an individual so some folks have figured a way to easily load many submissions. I noticed the first day that the entry count was incrementing faster than the counter on the National Debt web page. I was also curious as to what happens to the entry information. The form asks for first and last name along with an e-mail address. The form is powered by a company called Gleam. Do you know if they save the information for their own data harvesting purposes? This is our giveaway, and only the two of us are able to see emails or phone numbers, and we ONLY use the winner's info to contact them to provide their prize.
