✅ Synology VM Backups - You have some options!

Benefit from my frustration to find an easy Backup solution for Synology Virtual Machine Manager VM's. I cover some of the problems with Hyper Backup/Active Backup and how to combine them to provide a less than ideal solution!

It's really weird we don't have this option yet. Manual export + hyper backup is the best option afaik, but it's MANUAL.

backup doesn't seem to be a strong point for synology. CIFS/SMB not a target for any of their backup options. you would think that would be on the top of the list.
