Hi Jef, thank you for such a clean, to-the-point, and well shot video tutorial. I'm so grateful for instructional videos that folks post, but so many people are now either rambling on for the first half of the video before getting to the information, or, you have folks who are trying SO HARD to be a comedian, that the end result comes off as contrived and "snarky". Really clean and impressive. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for this video! I used to always click and drag on the time bar to move the cursor and find the spot say where someone got punched then I would move the audio block to the point where the cursor was positioned. This mode is like a 2 in 1 and great for markers!
abusolutly everything is perfect. The Simplest and cleanest setup. the way you teach and talk, the product you made and music you creatived. maybe one glitch which is that the title of every vid can be shorter.
PlLlllLlllleaaaase do some more videos soon on the music side of Cubase 10. So far you are my favorite instructor and I am also interested in everything music theory from basics first to expert and if its paired with Cubase 10 tutorials evvvvvven betterrrr :D _/\_
Honestly, this kind of kills me because I just did a commercial spot with about 70 different hand-placed sound effects and this would have saved me a ton of time. I'm just getting into Cubase and hopefully Nuendo later this year, transitioning over from doing everything in Premiere Pro, learning something new every day :) Thanks for the vid.
It is the best by far and I love it...

Totally agree. This feature caught my eye and I am really surprised that it has received very little attention. Nicely done. Cheers!
gesslr thanks!
Thanks for sharing this new feature, which is not widely known. Appreciate it.
You bet, it's a good one to know about!

Thanks Jan!
This inaight was really useful. Thank you.
I'm glad it helped! It's such an important feature for anyone working with video...
@@jefgibbons yes it is, thi feature - and some minor one - could really convince me to upgrade from 9.5 ro 10
I’m loving cubase more than Pro tools and Abelton.
I've gone to Logic and Pro Tools in the past, but I keep coming back to Cubase, it just works best for the work I do!
How do we slave Nuendo and Cubase midi to external programs like Celemony's Melodyne Tempo setting?

Right on Steven, let me know how it goes for you!
Jef, Are there any advantages of owning both Cubase and Nuendo? Because I notice you used both.
Awesome ...... subbed

Next time it’ll help hopefully! Thanks for the comments!
Thanks!
But how do we import a video Jeff with the audio separate? I'm having issues with that tonight, can you help me pleaaassse? : D
Where do you get these sound effects from?
Is this feature included in Elements? I have the 10.0.40 version
Unfortunately no. I have Elements 10.5.

These seem kind of cheesy: badly foley and mickey mouse fx aren't a convincing reason to use one DAW over another
Thanks!
