    More specifically 'awase dashi': awase dashi (合わせだし) is a combination of kombu (dried kelp) and katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes).
    The most common seafood-based broth. Awase means 'combination' or 'mixed' in Japanese. This is our go-to dashi for many recipes.
