Great update Richard. The stock projects will certainly keep you going for a few months, the extra detailing makes a big difference. Also nice to see the full length HST running. All the best, Chris
Great video Richard. The 37 and 47 are some great projects, cant wait to see them come to fruition. You have done some great stuff there, keep at it mate. Alex
Hi Richard, I was watching this and seeing all these little (and not so little) extras you do to get your layout to the right era you are modeling to and I thought what a great hobby this is there's you with all this detail work and research and me who runs everything and anything even HO loco's with OO rolling stock and everything in between and it works so well. Nice to finally see you running full size trains for the first time on the layout and looking forward to more in the future keep well and safe and it will hopefully warm up soon. Cheers Robert.
That for me is the joy, it can be all things to all men (and women). I love seeing a bit of everything and as we're making our own little worlds we can do anything our imagination allows. It's brilliant isn't it?! Hope you're keeping well!
Good use of your time during the cold months Richard. Your loco and rolling stock modifications projects intrigue me. I tend to be satisfied with a basic representation of a loco and have not been happy with the simple (looking) task of re-numbering. Take care, David.
Nice to see your new additions, I love the 37 in Engineers so looking forward to that develop over the coming weeks, and the details makes all the difference to those old LIma mk3's worth the effort Andy
Great update. You have really been busy. Your trees look amazing. I have never seen a photo etch bending tool. Where did you get that? Platform looks really nice. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Hello nice update you have got lots of nice stuff for your layout i quite like the detailing that goes on the mk3s. Who makes the brass grills that you put on your vi-trains class 37? Cheers and all the best. Nicholas.
Hi mate another great video mate have you got a realtrack class156 dmu in your fleet? I have replaced all my old lima class156s dmus with realtrack class156s in BR provincial livery for my stranraer harbour station line on my wcml layout set in the 1980s in and around Lancaster and heysham harbour and stranraer harbour in south west Scotland the realtrack class156s are great models and realtrack is bing out the class156 in BR Strathclyde livery in November I am looking forward to it stay safe and well mate goodbye for now clive
Hi Clive. No mate, I don't have one. They weren't all that common in South Wales in the period I model, although they were around for a small period. But I think they are beautiful models, and if money wasn't a consideration then I would certainly have got one!
Excellent update. Lots of interesting projects going on. I do like the long hst as it sweeps around the layout, looks superb. I like the weathering on the class 37 did you do that yourself? Atb Andy
Hi 👋 Nice update 👍🏻 Keep warm and looking forward to seeing the next video cheers Stevie 😎

Cheers Chris! It's certainly a lot of fun adding the detail to the locos and making them unique.
Fantastic update, Richard. A lot of amazing conversions and detail work. Very impressive on the cars, but the metal stair set was quite cool!
Great video Richard.

No - to be honest when I moved house it all got boxed up and I haven't really come across it! Maybe one day I will!
