Both my childhood best friend a rescue corgi and my childrens pals 2 german shepherd dogs did this after baths. We always thought it should have the "I feel good, I knew that I would" song as it's sound track ... none of them did it with more fervor then my corgi... so much like yours it is nostalgic.
I have a welsh corgi/sheltie mix back at home with my parents who does this same thing. Now I know which breed he got it from lol. Have a pekingese here where I live that does this x 50000 every day after his walks. so freaking funny
This is a pembroke with a fluffy mutant gene. Google "fluffy pembroke corgi" to see more images of corgis who look like this, and more sheltie-like than corgi like. The "ear" difference only apply to pure bred show-dog eligible corgis, fluffy corgis are a genetic anomaly and ineligible to be in shows, so the ear difference doesn't apply to them
Actually I have a Pembroke and his tail was docked when he was born. So its just a breed standard to get them docked. However I do know that some cases they don't have tails. But more then likely they are docked.
mine also did this. since the space of the apartment grew smaller for him, he now goes to the bedroom and dhakes off water... His nails are always clicking on the floor, even if they are short to the nerves.
because it is a pembroke? Some pems have long tails that are docked at birth and some are born without a tail at all. However, there definitely are pembrokes with long foxtails like this one. Google or youtube it /watch?v=4pb26UDM3FY
This is not a Pembroke Welsh Corgi....Pembroke's do not have tails...I do not mean that they are docked at birth, I am saying they were breed to be a tailless dog. Cardigan Corgis have tails. Ironically, Biscuit has the markings of a Pembroke...
yes it's funny isn't it? Oh also if you guys don't believe this comment, look very closely at the ears and see how they are rounded at the tips, Pembrokes have much more pointed ears ^^ little tip for you guys.
As a fellow corgi owner, I can confirm the post-bath chaos.
biscuit is such a cute name!! if I get another dog I wanna name it biscuit.
SO adorable!! Cheered me right up. :)
Aww, my 14 year old used to do that everytime she had a bath haha. she'd take off :P
