Love your hot bottle warmer, awesome 🙋
awesome, great work ☺
Great video! Thanks.
Hi! Great video. Just wondering, what does C4B stands for? It's been years since I've knitted and I only ever made scarves. This looks like a fun project!
Hi C4B is Cable 4 stitches Back. There’s 2 instructions with that. One is you’re working the cable over 4 stitches. Second is you’re slipping the first 2 stitches on a holder and hold the those two stitches to the back of your work the you’ll knit the last 2, then finally you’ll knit the first 2 stitches from the holder. Just in case that didn’t make sense, you have 4 stitches 1, 2, 3, 4. You’ll first knit stitches 3 and 4 then you’ll knit stitches 1 and 2. I hope that helps :)
@@BundleInABasket thank you! The video shows it well so I think I'll have no issues doing it.
can this be done without the cables? i have never done them before.
Matters of the Heart Consultation & Education Services yes it can be just do a stockinette stitch, which is knit one side and purl the next or a garter stitch which is knit all sides until you get to the rib
I also just wanted to check, 150grams is how much you would use to make 2 of these? I've also forgotten how to change colour. Any tips for that would be great! Thank you :)
Tim Quain yes 150g roughly. When you want to change colour insert your needle into the stitch you want to change the colour of and wrap the new yarn around and pull through like you would with a normal knit stitch or purlwise if you’re changing colour on the purl side. Remember to tie the ends together otherwise you’ll end up with big holes on the ends and a chance of everything unraveling
@@BundleInABasket Oh I see. Do you tie them together after you have completed the stitch with the colour or before?
Tim Quain either way is fine as long as they are tied. I personally complete a few stitches in the new colour and then tie the ends because it’s less fiddly
