To move the old loft we remove all the plywood walls off, some nest boxes, and unnecessary pieces to reduce the weight on the loft frame. With the help of some man power we rolled it onto the trailer using some rounded fence posts, luckily the length between my city home and shed have just enough space for the trailer ramp and rolled the loft frame onto the trailer. Didn’t get the chance record any of the muscle work sadly. Sorry I cannot answer your question to who is my bil since I haven’t ask for permission to speak his name on my channel. I believe his Loft is No Day Birds Left Behind Loft by studying the pedigrees. To your question about them starting a OLR that answer is, YES! Hopefully I get a chance to do a loft visit and get a video together. I cannot disclose anything else at this time, thanks for understanding.
@firstflightloft awesome! No problem I understand. I know a few people from the Midwest that fly so I was just curious if I knew him but the loft name doesn't ring a bell. I got a few birds from great friends from MN. Good luck this coming 2024.
How did you lift/move the loft onto the trailer? Who is your BIL or what was his loft name? He's starting a OLR?
