To the contrary of the comments written by angry lizards on their ceremonial performance... I think the lads here put in a sterling effort considering their (at the time of the parade) recent return from Afghanistan. Top lads.

They're also marching at "rifle pace". That's too fast for the precision and swinging arms to shoulder height one sees at the King's Birthday Parade on Horse Guards.

Considering they have returned from active duty, I really doubt they would of bothered with perfecting drill performance just for you. You should be proud of these men, instead of negative type remarks, WELL DONE MEN👍👌👍👏

John Pickford Thank you for your kind words concerning The Bi Centenary Parade by 1st Batt KRRC !!
I must thank the Boys back from Afghanistan . Well done we are proud of you ! I would not expect a high standard of drill after your active service efforts just a few days ago ! And we had months of rehearsal . And let me point out that our rifles helped with our Dressing , the muzzle overlapped the butt of the man ahead . Plus we were ordered to Swagger!! The grass cancelled out the crash of our steel studded boots !! Pity !!
Thanks again to the Chaps !!
    Incedently
, our average age was 19 and our weight was around 10 Stones ! The Rifles now are such Big lumps I dought we could handle them close up !!
90 per cent of our boys were National Service .
