Holy cow that was amazing!! The practical effects, camera work, storytelling, and choreography are all absolutely insane - somehow you keep raising the bar after every new animation. The animation in every shot is just so good, I love at 1:12 when the hunter hits the ground and there's a perfect amount of camera shake and wiggle in the legs XD Congrats on nailing your dream gig, if I were Mega Construx, I'd be very happy :)
This reminds me of the old Mega Bloks stop motion ads in all of the best ways, plus with plenty of your own flair. Well done, good sir! This was a treat.

I think my favorite part about this is how self-aware it is that it's a mega blocks animation. Things fall apart and function not like real objects, but like buildable collections of plastic parts.
This of the same quality (or even better quality) of the official stop motion animations that were made all those years ago. This man just made my brain flow with those memories. I gotta rewatch all of that. This was beyond amazing. I can’t even put into words how great it was.
You've done it yet again Charlie! The take downs were so smooth and well choreographed, your walk/run cycles majorly improved, and your turn around time on this project was insane!
I just bought the mega phantom because Mr Mootroid told me to, and now I'm gonna buy the scorpion clash because this collab was so sick! (this ad was clearly effective Mega Construx, you should commission Charlie for more)

STELLAR WORK!!! I love the sequence where stone kills the elite, also the hunter stuck in the ground was really cool too. Though, it's obvious the marine is way stronger than anyone else because of 2 reasons:
1: He can hold a brick separator (in lore it weighs 4.6 metric tonnes), and he fixed the tank in no time with it which proves that his fast-twitch muscles are developed at an ultimatum of strength.
2: Tank beats everything!

Honestly I think your work should be the face of mega Construx ads, all of your work is practical and reflects actual stuff you can do with your figures and playsets. MEGA if you see this, I really hope you continue to work with MooTroid on this

The action, battle and comedy was some of the best I've ever seen. The Spartan just being a badass and then the Marine just pulls out an instruction manual for, not just a Scorpion, but a Mega Construx Scorpion.

That guy was fighting in ways that people playing Halo master chief couldn't.
We've had 4 Lego movies (8 if you count Bionicle) and even a Playmobil film, but somehow Mega Construx hasn't had a theatrical stop-motion animation yet. But when that time comes, you'll be the first one they call!
Wow! Truly, I don't think I've seen anyone display composition, choreography so well in stop motion.
This is the most realistic and smooth stop motion I have ever seen, I really need to step up my game.
Dude literally so sick. I love it all but I really love how when the 2nd hunter falls into the ground his legs giggle. As well as just the weight of your figures hitting the ground. Ahh it looks so good and feels so real. They really feel like they are alive. Awesome job man. Congrats on the Collab too :)

That was so smooth! I loved how you made it serious yet goofy at the same time, the cuts to the marine were perfect, the effects were amazing, and very well lit. The choreography looked great as usual, I loved the spin kick and the multiple jumps. The sfx were great, and them halo 2 physics were 😳👌perfect.

dang this is sooo cool, I love this animation style, the camera movements man I could never imagine how to even do that. your work is truly thrill to watch, it fills me with wonderous bliss, I have come to the conclusion that you are simply a wizard because this is magical.
Everything top notch and exciting so I'll pick out my best bits. The best animated roundhouse kick I think I've ever seen and the audio is fantastic.

Also, I know you usually do a good job with it, but it's nice hearing the actual weapon and enemy sounds being used. Most of the other Mega collabs are fun, but it's always jarring to hear an Elite make Hunter noises or a spiker use the carbine sounds lol

Thank you! They got a professional to do the sound this time, and I was very particular in making sure the foley matched the weapons and characters. And he did a great job, so no corrections needed!

When a mega construx animation portrays Spartans better than a multi million dollar tv show.
That was truly the spectacle of all time. The practice effects were out of this world. I loved the way the figures fell apart into 100 different little pieces when they got destroyed. T'was the lego star wars moment of all time. The amount of masking you must have had to do for all of those mid air shots 💀. I cannot fathom the amount of time and effort that took. I usually always try to avoid midair shots like that, but you did it masterfully. Even tho the animation itself was little under 2 minutes, Id say the wait was worth it, and the overall quality of the product itself matched the time taken to produce it, especially when you look at all the small tedious details you had to do, like animating multiple figures at the same time, camera movement, and projectiles. All at once. It all came together in the end! 10/10 stars. Cannot wait to see more 🙏
