- For my last doll repainting project of 2021 I've decided to take a big hairdresser's mannequin head! Let's give this doll a big makeover and prepare her for a (not-existing) New Year party!

That's how my makeup is lol, it always looks very questionable starting out
I would love to see you remake one of these ugly heads in to like some fantasy queen. Evil, good, spacy, fairy, whatever. Give her elaborate hairstyle along with a beautifully complicated headdress and makeup.
GASP! A medusa maybe?? I think you've done medusa before? But in a big version like this where you could really add in lots of details.
Or just your own creation. You're so talented and I could just imagine what you'd be able to create.
That was my thought as well, a mermaid would be amazing at this size. :)

As a hairdresser for over 35 years, I am so happy to see the transformation on "Dolly"!!!
Those poor things could be made so much prettier than they are when cosmetology students get ahold of them....and after they've "worked" on them😉
They look soulless. And some of the poor things have been mispainted and have eye's dropped on one side😂. I'm going to blank mine so I can do makeup on her every day
@@arranaburden5667 I never understood why more hair students didnt do that! They tend to have to take makeup courses as a part of cosmetology anyways, so why not take full advantage of the entire head? Its so cool to someone thought of it, cosmo student or not.

Oooh, I didn't realize how I've missed the big heads! She turned out so so pretty ❤ I would really love a big doll make over, like the WHOLE doll! When I was little I got this lovely old-fashion, sothern-belle type, 90 cm doll for Christmas present. She had satin fuchia dress and hat, dark curly hair and long lashes. I loved her, but her facepaint disappointed me a lot. I can just see your take on her! Drop dead gorgeous, big curls and a statement dress with lots of ruffles, lace and layers!

This would be so cool! I've been trying to figure out if I can apply any of these techniques to make the baby doll one of my kids got a little less terrifying - she has super dramatic blush on her cheeks and forehead.
My husband is a hairdresser, and has several of these mannequin heads. They are so unrealistic and quite ugly. I am so impressed with your talent. Amazing!
The doll honestly scared me at the start. She just didn't look right with the factory paint. After you repainted her, she looked so natural. She looks like someone I could meet in my day to day life. You did a great job!
The thing is, the iris+pupil were kindof facing down, where there was quite a bit of empty space above (and around) the pupil and the iris. Space above the iris usually creates a frightened look, especially if the eyes are wide open.
It was actually kind of shocking to see how the wet gloss on the eyes really made her look so much more "lifelike" instantly!!
She turned out so nice! I didn't realize that those ugly heads had such nice sculpting underneath that horrible paint job. I really love the way you did her eyes. They're just gorgeous!
I'm so glad you did a mannequin head again! I am a faithful watcher, and I remember when you painted Jessica. I also remember the beautiful, dark skinned, large Barbie head! The large heads are my favorite! She is gorgeous. Well done. 🤩
I would love to see you do Mirabelle from Encanto - The new Disney movie. She is Colombian and wears glasses. She has thick curly hair and I think she would be fresh and different and new!

I've been seriously missing the big doll head repaints. My favorite part is definitely the eyes, because even without gloss, they look so life-like and beautiful!

She came alive while you were painting her. At one point it looked like you were doing makeup on a real person. While you were doing her hair, I really liked when you had the curls down, it too had a retro vibe. Well done.
Seeing you use different types of dolls in all ways - size, brand, whatever - is always the most fun!
As the old face was taken off and the new was going on I was getting a real Taylor Swift feel from her. That being said, in the end I think she ended up looking like Kate Jackson from the original Charlie's Angels! She looks amazing!

I think it would be cool to see a series of dolls showcasing different countries and their traditional costumes from all over the world.
I have a suggestion: What if you customize two of the werecat dolls from monster high (Toralei, Purrsephone, Catrine DeMew, Meowlody, or Catty Noir), and customize them to look like your cats in real life! It would also be a fun challenge to imagine what your cats would be like as humans, what kind of clothes they would wear etc
I suggested a few weeks ago about a dog version of this idea and think that your idea is brilliant

To me these doll heads are a million times more interesting than the barbie types. I was so into watching this that I was disappointed when it ended. Beautiful work, just beautiful 😍

She is beautiful! I like how the contour made her nose look bigger because it was so disproportional to her face. If you decide to restyle her hair use a silicone hair serum to smooth it. To cover a bald spot you can tease the area and use eyeshadow to fill it in.
As far as wanting more episodes on doll heads it doesn't matter. You make everything beautiful so I appreciate all of your talent and just look forward to watching you. God bless and have the best new year!!
