The sound system was a DISASTER during the first half of the show. I felt so sorry for King Promise and King Paluta. Paluta has a great song but that poor child couldn't carry a tune in all the rubbers in Makola Market! Actually, King Promise did not sound much better live. It's amazing what they can do in the studio to improve vocal performance....

I thought King Promise was gonna win it because Ghanaians are always moaning and crying about our artists not going far internationally and then King Promise has the biggest song in Africa with Terminator and Perfect Combi you hear the song on UK radio (Capital Xtra).
He also went out there touring Asian markets like Singapore and Indonesia where it’s rare for African acts to be sell out.
To me it seems the Ghanaian music industry is definitely not ready for change and are still stuck on 3S I.e Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale so we shouldn’t complain about it being stagnant just like y’all do with the film industry complaining about the same faces.
