Hi, everyone. Features and specs can be found on Embassy web site here: embassyrv.com/models/cape-cod/ Also, we followed up two months later with a Q&A with Terry to ask him the questions all of you left in the comments. Here’s that Q&A: ua-cam.com/video/bQfrspfTQNE/v-deo.html
Congrats to Terry and the entire Embassy RV for completely rethinking the Class B+ RV and injecting so much innovation in this new entry into the segment. I am really proud of Embassy for taking the time to do this rig right. Great job Guy for capturing this Cape Cod RV Tour while at the Embassy RV Customer Campout event. HOORAY 😃 … the Cape Cod has landed
Been waiting a long time for this debut. I’m sure there are more details to learn, but I’m very impressed so far as Embassy appears to be so strong on the details that rent often discussed. I’ll be curious if there will be plans for multiple floor plans for the Cape Cod down the road. I expect this will be very successful
Nice job, Guy! I'm looking forward to the final chassis numbers. The roof is so strong, another Cape Cod could be stacked on top of it. That's freaking strong and could be an excellent rig for NASCAR events and such...
Love all the features you have incorporated. Finally, a company that is thinking ahead and building a quality product. Must say, however, I'm a little disappointed with the over-the-cab storage. It does not look like it will be easy to move between the cab and the house. And with all the mentions of making corners curved, seems like that opening is small and boxy. Also, the microwave is pretty small. Looks like there is plenty of room to have installed a larger one. And, like others have said, solar would be a definite plus. A dedicated alternator is great if you are moving frequently. But if you're stationary for a while, solar is free energy vs running the engine just to charge the batteries. Overall, this looks like a great RV. Curious what the price will be when it comes on the market. Definitely on my watchlist.
Well done! Wow! Much more complete from what we saw during our factory tour in April. If we were still in the market for a class C this would be at the top of our list, hands down, just like Embassy vans are for class B. Outstanding! It has all the best ideas I've see with improvement. The rounded corners really makes a difference too. First impressions are very high but I'll have to watch it again to get a second impression but I'm guessing it will only go up in my opinion. Keep up the good work Embassy! And thanks for sharing the video guys.
I think your best bet is to discuss pricing directly by calling Embassy. I think there may be options that affect price, and of course the price of the Ford chassis fluctuates year to year. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Don’t know if noticed there are 2 TVs, one in the bedroom and the hideaway one in the lounge. Toilet is your choice of Laveo Dry Flush or Separett.
Love this. But what gives pause (other than price, obviously) is the ground clearance. How will this do on bad roads, with gravel or lots of potholes? Is this chassis the all wheel drive? Can the chassis be lifted a little?
Finally an exceptional well engineered vehicle, I am so impressed with the beauty of it but the practicality of it also. Most manufacturers build these rv's now and people spend thousands doing upgrades to solar and all kinds of things. This one I could purchase and probably never upgrade anything. A couple of questions, how long for a build time would be on this and also is there anything done to the Ford Chassis with the suspension? Again nothing slapped together with this RV. It will be coveted by many. Well done!!!!☺🤩
Hi. I’ll pass along your kind comments to Terry and his team. As far as lead times, I’ll pass that question to Terry, but if you are looking to possibly place an order, the sooner you call them the better. As far as the suspension, I think Embassy will install Sumo springs, if requested, but that’s something to discuss with them also. Thanks for watching!
Luv it. Thanks for showing. Few things tho. Where's the electric stove? Option location of the microwave could be directly top of the sink. Pull out TV is awkward but who watches TV now a days. Most watch on their own tablets. Dedicated table for breakfast or a lagune table at the sofa/bed? How many gallons of fuel? Thanks
Hi! All Embassys come with a portable induction cooktop, so you can choose to cook inside or out. Don’t know if you noticed second TV in the bedroom. I’ll pass your other comments/questions on to Terry. Thanks for Watching!
Wow! A TV that faces the front couch! Had an RV a few years ago that had a similar couch but a TV facing the rear, so it was at a 90 degree angle to where you were sitting. Talk about awkward. This one appears to be built for actual human bodies to enjoy, without having to twist their torsos as if they're octopuses, when they want to watch the screen! So many fantastic features all over this one. Bravo to everyone who designed it.
As a very short person I would worry about pulling a hot pan, or Pyrex casserole dish from that convection/microwave oven. If a sauce were to splatter on my face or in my eyes, that would kind of ruin my day. . I wonder if the refrigerator could be mounted higher so that the convection oven could be mounted below it. I'd rather have a frozen steak fall on my head than a pan of hot spaghetti sauce. 😉
Hi. While the demo unit toured in this video did not have that feature, I believe it is or will be available in the production units. Your best bet is to call Embassy directly and ask about options. Thanks for watching!
Take a bow! Love this B plus! I would recommend an electric slide toilet! 😂 I'm lazy! But, with that said, why didn't you just put a toilet in that space?

Nice, but did I miss something? Great flip-up counter in the kitchen with significant audio discussion of its benefits, but where is the cooktop - induction or gas - in the kitchen? Nothing on the countertop, no single burner stored in drawer, and no audio discussion about it.
Hi. Thanks for watching! In addition to several awning style opening windows, and an air conditioner that I believe can be set on fan only, I saw 1 Max Air, but I’ll pass your question on to Terry for a future video.
Off the top of my head, I don’t recall, but I don’t see any reason a Lagun mount could not be placed there. I’ll pass your question along to Terry. Thanks for watching!
What I like: the storage, no wood, the cameras, the portable induction cooktop, dry-flush toilet. What I don't: no solar. Will it be an option or easy to add?
I love the design and ample storage, but I wish he had discussed more details about the utilities (tank capacities, heating and hot water systems, inverter capacity, charging, etc). Also, 25+ ft is a bit too long for a B+ in my opinion. I really wish they'd held it to a max of 24 ft. That extra ft really starts to limit your mobility and where you can go, not to mention fitting into the garage. A shorter rear overhang would also be better, given how low to the ground the body sits. That said, it is a great design.
Embassy does not install awnings on any of its RVs. I believe they are of the view that they are inherently unreliable. Many of us who own Embassy RVs carry portable awnings, like the Kelty Sideroads or Backroads models. We have the Backroads that we like very much. Thanks for watching!
Embassy does not use dealers, so best way to see one will be to visit the factory in Elkhart. However, in the video at the end, Terry said that he is taking it to two Adventure Van expos this summer: one in Massachusetts and one in Tahoe. So, check out that part of the video to see if the dates and locations work for you! As for pictures, consider joining the Embassy Owners and Wannabees Facebook group, Many members were at the reveal and took many pictures, which they have posted on Facebook. Embassy supplies a portable induction cooktop so you can use it indoors or out. There is also a pretty large convection microwave that is shown in the video. Thanks for watching!
Hi. The advantage of the hide-away toilet, as I see it, is that it makes the shower huge when it’s hidden away. Of course, people who prefer to can simply leave the toilet pulled out all the time if they wish. If we owned one of these, I think we’d likely have the toilet out most of the time and only push it in to take a shower. Thanks for watching!

The demo unit in this tour was not equipped with solar. I will pass along to Terry your question of whether it will be offered with solar. I am pretty certain the MasterVolt inverter has a solar port/controller, so I suspect solar would be an easy after-market add in any event.
@@amorevantheir website doesn’t mention solar either. Seems like a major miss to me especially considering how relatively inexpensive it would be to add two 200w solar panels.
@@bk3132 I don’t know. I’ll ask Terry. I personally think that with big Lithium systems with powerful second, dedicated alternators (like we have on our Embassy Class B), solar is overrated. I know some folks like it, but the alternator charges the battery so much faster.
