Design Education in India

Vincenzo Iavicoli and Maria Luisa Rossi embarked on an extensive journey throughout India to promote educational bridges with Indian institutions.
During their travels, they visited fourteen universities and two design consultancies across seven cities, gathering a comprehensive overview of India's vibrant design scene and educational landscape.
They conducted workshops and lectures and participated in panels and events, such as the Internationalization of Higher Education Symposium at MIT/ADTU (Art Design and Technology University) in Pune and the inaugural Ceremony of the Ahmedabad Design Week at Karnavati University.
Active on-site participation in these universities served as a pivotal platform for networking, sharing invaluable insights, and unveiling potential avenues for collaborations.
