And she was voted off and Simon couldn't live with the choice of voting her off and he went right to her house and apologized to her and asked her to return to the show. Her family was so happy for her and i can't remember anyone else that wasn't happy for Melanie. Because she was the best singer on the show that season and she out sang them all and returned and won. Her family are from the british virgin island- BVI (tortola). And a Christian family too. She's staying true to her culture, morals and values. I am proud of her to this day, even though she's underrated by many all because she won't sell out to be a top chart artist. Stay blessed Mel. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
