It would take several large farms to feed those monkeys every year. They wouldn’t even survive without you feeding them now. They basically just wait around for food to come to them everyday. They’ve become dependent on humans.
The babies do that instinctively. Some monkeys will grab and run off with small human infants thinking they will automatically latch on, but end up dropping them. To humans, it looks like the monkey intentionally dropped the baby, but they are just curious about the infant and didn't want to harm it.
Thats awesome that he does this for hungry wild monkeys but thats a lot of work and prep for a small slice of watermelon when there are 1000+ monkeys. They would be good for only like a half hour before they were starving again. Better than nothing at all i guess. Good man for doing it either way.
Farm food just for monkeys And bring it daily, also buy a Cow or Goat and milk daily. To help supplement the food You could farm cabbage,root veggies, peanuts and fruit. You're in the jungle/forest Grow something!! Plenty of Rain.
In these times of destruction of wildlife habitat, it's so beautiful to see a very generous & loving human who clearly cares enough for these monkeys. I'm sure they're having hard times finding food. Who doesn't love watermelon! God Bless you Monkey Man, lol. You are loved for your kindness & generosity to these adorable monkeys in a world of greed! I only wish I had the opportunity to help.
