    You know that’s torture every time you show those big golden fries, it seriously makes me salivate for them. There’s nowhere near here that has fries like those. If only I was a millionaire I could move there across the street from these awesome pubs that serve such fantastic looking meals!

    Thought I'd watch this as a prequel to your next video 😁👻... really enjoyed this figure of eight around Boscastle... haven't been there for ages. Another one to add to the list 👌😉💝😘

    Aww..had a bit of a lump in my throat at 6.00 when Andrew mentioned things were Wizard! That's was my dad's favourite way of describing things he really thought were perfect! And I see you managed to capture me at 11.24!!! (Always did love a crystal ball you know....). Went to Boscastle earlier this year, after going on a long walk through St. Nectan's Glen and it's magic waterfall (a little way further along the Tintagel road) & managed to pick up some ancient copies of Winston Graham's OTHER novels (not the Poldark ones!) in the little bookshop there. North coast has such dramatic scenery. Great vid. Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

      I think I would quite like to have been a 'wise woman', have all the village consulting you about their needs. We will be venturing further up the North Coast now the main holiday season is over - need to find those Doc Martin filming locations! Does your crystal ball know where we went today?

      Sadly, the Crystal Ball needs a bit of a clean!! (Ahem!)... :-)) Let me hazard a guess......North Coast walking? Tintagel maybe?? Or further up towards Bude?! (or even venturing across the border into Morwenstow?...that's breathtaking scenery up there).......Anyway, wherever it was it will be fab I'm sure!

      Oh very good! Top of the class! We have identified lots of filming locations from Doc Martin Series One. Today we tried to find them! We visited Tintagel, Davidstow and Port Gaverne and Port Isaac - now absolutely exhausted! I was interested to see how things have changed! Good day! :)

    You two crack us up - loved the medieval photo including Ken Bruce (now possibly the best radio presenter since the sad loss of TW).
    Really enjoyed the video, with the usual mix of humour, fact and stunning scenery. The weather was rather tame compared to your last two storm-chasing escapades. Boscastle looks so picturesque - bet it has many tales to tell of smuggling and the like. Thank you for another brilliantly filmed and put together video - Happy Spooky Halloween to you both too!

      So glad you are still enjoying our little videos - I love getting comments from yourself and other subscribers! I think there is more to Boscastle than our video shows and I want to find out more, may be next year. Andrew loves the music quiz on Ken Bruce, one day he will ring up and play! Sarah :)

      Thanks for subscribing! We had a great day in Boscastle and there are loads of walks around the area so I feel sure we will return. As for chips in a bucket, well at least it wasn't a slate plate! :)

    The opening funeral scene from Saving Grace with Brenda Blethyn, Martin Clunes (Dr Martin Bamford) was filmed in the church yard at the top of Boscastle. Worth a watch as Port Isaac is featured quite a bit as well

      Ooooh! Brilliant! We have watched Saving Grace recently and wow! what a difference in the two doctor characters. I feel Dr Bamford is more like 'Men Behaving Badly'! Am I right in thinking that they also use Trebarwith Strand for the pot smoking scene, I think I recognise the island? Not sure about the house featured in Saving Grace - is it a private house? Sorry about all the questions - we were thinking of a Saving Grace film location video!! Sarah :)

      Cornish Walking Trails We loved the film and did a few of the locations around 2001. We have stayed in the old School House and walked up to the church. We now do the Poldark film locations and many thanks for pointing them out. Another film we did a bit of location spotting was Straw Dogs in St Buryan and Morvah ( you can actually stay at the house now which was called Trenchers Farm in the film) Wycliff is another one we have done. We live on the Isle of Wight but stay in St Just two or three times a year. Back for a week in December and will use your recommended guides for some more walks with our Collie. Keep up the great work!

      I love St Just - we watched the man engine there last year.
      We will be positing for a few more weeks and as long as the weather allows us to film, planning a Christmas video and will try to catch any really good storms if they are obliging and fall on our days off! Lovely to hear you enjoy the videos and enjoy your break! Sarah

    Surprised you didn't mention the flood of 2004, sadly what Boscastle is most known for ?

      @CornishWalkingTrails  6 років тому

      As far as we are aware, they have gone! They only spend about a month here, usually September or April to catch the weather and when the county is a bit quieter. Glad you like our videos, thank you! :)
