  • Can’t Believe I Predicted This!
(^Title curtesy of my friends 🤣)
A stry i never thought id be telling…if it wasnt for my medalling thyroid 🥲
This video is a mash up of my surgery in 2021 of my thyroid surgery and a video I made when I was a kid, joking that I had my neck removed and put on my ankle…it’s very weird, but kids are very weird and my imagination was limitless 😅 it was based simply on the fact that necks and ankles are both cyclindical and so by shape, could potentially fit together (…lmao 🤣)
I’d like to add that I was not putting on a voice, the voice was a mix of being a child, having M.E which flares up my voice sometimes and being in that position.
I hope it gives you a good laugh like it did for me, kids will be kids ig 😅🤣
(I’ve edited the blood & drain out of the thumbnail photo to make it less graphic, but I couldn’t edit the video. The drain is not bad in the video, but the photo didn’t feel right to post. Sorry I couldn’t edit the blood out of the video either.)

Humor ANYWHERE you can find it is a blessing! To have such a challenging life every day and still have the funny wit you have and the ability to laugh and smile and make others laugh and smile is a precious gift God has given you! Do not worry about who may be offended Darling!! There are always people who are going to act like they are offended just to try to take what joy we have left away from us by any means possible. I feel sorry for them to be so miserable they can only hope to make others more miserable than themselves. Your video is not so far off from what is possible today. They do, after all grow human ears on rat’s backs, poor animals! I love your videos and I thank you for making me smile when most of the time I am crying! You are an Angel!! I would like to have a total body transplant but they would have to also transplant my brain, and that means it wouldn’t be me at all!?!? I didn’t know having a total thyroidectomy was hereditary! My poor mother had to have one several years ago. She was the only one in her or our family who did. The problem developed from a goiter she had many years before the actual need for the surgery. I am just happy you are still kicking Honey! If you ever need a new ear, Iwill volunteer to grow you one on my back!

I think it's absolutely brilliant. You had the raw material, saw an opportunity and sewed it all together!

okay i was a bit confused at first but this is my favorite kind of humor and im all for it! that was hilarious!
i follow haley kalil here on youtube and she makes prank videos all the time with special effects and rarely apologizes or explains, so im sort of desensitized to this type of humor and thought it odd that you explained but i do appreciate it lol
maybe i should look back on what i was doing 10 years ago and see if it explains my chronic illness now 🤔 /j

I’m obsessed with Haley’s content! But especially after my April fools video and the response it got, I was too scared to upload this without explanation 🤣

I’ll post it as a short on its own tomorrow and see how that goes 🤔

@@GeorginasJourney i look forward to it!! i’ll try to come up with an obviously sarcastic comment to add to hopefully guide other people to the fact that its a joke heheh

Thank you! I’d appreciate that & also just you engaging with it in general, as it may get no views if people think it’s just a re upload of the same thing 😂

I thought the video was funny af! however in some ways all the apologizing afterwards detracted from it... I understand why you would be mindfull of these things before posting, which is so kind and considerate of you; however you will never be able to please (or not offend) everyone all the time... so maybe next time just a fun "trigger warning for those having undergone a neckotomy" would be more than sufficient! ;)
So, for what it's worth, here goes: I need to make a video of myself pretending to get a full body transplant in the "hopes" that something that will help with my conditions manifests, like it did for you!
Love, light and spoons to all who are struggling; and special shout out to those who see the funny side of intrusive thoughts!

People can switch off whenever they please ☺️ and my thyroidectomy actually made me more unwell than I was before, but had no choice about getting it done due to the cancer risk & how fast it was growing! So the only thing that manifested for me was my hereditary tumour, since thyroidectomy isn’t a cure & in cases like mine, it actually throws hormone levels off further 😌

@@GeorginasJourney I'm so sorry to hear that, I hadn't realised... My comment was therefore in bad taste.. Sorry! However it won't stop my intrusive thoughts suggesting to me to get a full body transplant! ;)
In French there is an expression " l'espoir fait vivre" which means "hope makes you live" and to that I always answer that if that's true I will live a very long time! I live in hope that some day, something, will help those of us living with (suffering with) EDS and POTS...
