      He's rocking the rockered set-up for city skating like you! I love rockered for slalom or hockey but man it's tough for urban skating. Says a lot about yours and Bill's skating ability!

      I resumed in line skating in my 40’s and am now 8 years going. Had to find an alternative to jogging cause I hated the impact on ankles/knees. Stick with it and smooth sailing.

    Fav parts: power stops perfectly synced to the music & crossovers over the streetcar tracks! All well placed footing, shows you’ve definitely tallied some klicks around the six!

    King of the crossover, you make it look like the sidewalk and street are on the same level and very casual about it all.

    Can I ask for more shots from behind? I think they're great because they allow us to see what you see, get a better sensation of speed and most importantly for me: your movements. I've started inline skating like two weeks ago and it's super useful to see how you normally stride and take on different obstacles. Great video btw!

    Around 1:35 you do this delayed cross over (lazy kinda) and incorporate your upper body a bit. I could see that being really effective in city skating

  • @u.e.u.e.
    @u.e.u.e. 4 роки тому

    Your skills are amazing! 😃👍
    I liked the crossover up the curb @ 2:35 .
    And I liked the camera/editing effects at 0:14 and 2:39. I think if you hadn't shown your arm in the window scene but hat edited the view downwards even Alfred Hitchcock would freeze. 😎
    It's nice that you re-improved your breaking technique, you can stop on a dime again... but please, both feet parallel to the white line on the street! 🤪

    Killin' it Mr S! Are these Micros still rockered? I had a go at a banana rocker using smaller wheels on the front and back and it was like learning to roll all over again! Perhaps the size diff was too extreme. I changed it immediately for a high-lo setup which was surprisingly good!

    What skates you wearing today. Hard to tell, you’re moving so fast. Look like Seba. Didn’t know you had them in black. Thought just those funky colored ones. I was hoping to see you in the fabulous A80’s.

      According to the description he's skating -cheap Chinese Igor knockoffs made by a scummy company- ehhh I mean... Micro Delta F.

    • @kchappelle
      @kchappelle 4 роки тому

      @@This_new_handle_system_sucks Ya, they look like a rip-off of the Seba brand. Same cheezy dated design where the skate is a mile off the ground. Look at that space between the bottom of the boot and top of the front wheel. I would never buy such crap. I don't know why people buy such a poor designed skate. FR, Seba, Flying Eagle and now this brand...total garbage.
      Shit, my Bauer roller hockey skates from the 90's had a nice low height off the ground. The second wheel from the front was countersunk into the bottom of the sole. Powerslide have the right idea now with the trinity mount. I think GTO has a quad mount where it sits low.
      No excuse for these skate companies today to be pumping out such garbage. People buy into the hype.
      Look at an ice skate. Imagine trying to skate with the blade another half times higher? What a joke.
