I have been sporting A beard for the last 45 years haven’t seen my face clean-shaven since 1979 I have tried many Beard products And I have noticed that the changing of the seasons especially from summer to winter that I have to change the viscosity of the beard oil that I am using in the winter time my beard seems to like a heavier Beard Oil and for that I like to use Artius Man sometimes I will alternate between the heavier oil and the medium oil I usually use the medium oil about two days a week maybe three and my old gray beard seems to do great and I use the luxurious bastard Beard oil when my beard turned completely grey I noticed it got a lot more brittle and the heavier oils and the medium oils seem to help a whole lot I used to use some of the light oils but they just don’t work anymore because my old gray beard is a lot more brittle I would suggest going to a heavy oil and alternating it between the medium oil especially in the winter time in the summer months I stick with the medium oils I don’t know if that helps your situation or not but it’s worth a try but then again everybody’s skin and beards are not the same and react differently to different products
I forgot to mention that I also like to use a stripping wash about every three weeks And for that I like to use true north stripping wash because it has just a little bit of castor oil in it and it seems to help a lot because with an old gray beard stripping wash shampoos can sometimes make your beard feel so brittle that you can snap the hair off like twigs as far as every day wash I like beard octane LCW unscentedBut the stripping wash every three weeks seems to really help my beard and it feels really soft after I put the beard oil and the butter in
Lux has fantastic smelling stuff. Some of the longest lasting scents in a beard oil.✌
