      Thanks so much, I’m glad you found it helpful. I guess my years of teaching dance is paying off and being useful in this space too.

    Yes! I highly recommend this technique. I always have to reknit the last 2-4 inches of a sleeve when I don't do this! I have always used stitch holders, but I am going to break out that pony cord I found a Michaels for my next sweater, so much easier! blessings!

    Great tutorial. I always do it this way BUT I pickup into much smaller needles. Then knit my first row using the needle size I was supposed to. Just makes it easier to slide into those stitches. Thanks!

    Thank you Michael, after transfering stitching, do you pickup stitches under the arm for each sleeves as you go on each one when they come ? 😊

      Yes, exactly! Once the stitches are on the needles I carry on with the pattern. Picking up under the arm as I get to them. Hope that helps. ☺️

    Thank you Michael. What length of cable do you typically use with your needles for this technique?

    • @piece4peacecraftingpodcast
      @piece4peacecraftingpodcast  11 місяців тому

      I typically use a 42/45 inch cable. I like my stitches to be closer together while I’m knitting. This also allows me space between sleeve but not so much so that the sleeves are really far apart from each other.
