I love this. The bit at the beginning about the "shittens" and the attitude adjustment process from WTF to hey that's kinda nice is hilarious. Love your videos and reviews.
Wanted thank you and Copper, I drove down and picked up a EXO Zion Creek, I am very happy with it and fast becoming my all arounder, not to mention it fits me excellent
I have been paddling this boat for past 2 seasons, and I absolutely love it. The bow stays dry and that gives enough controls in big moving water. This boat isn't for the beginner kayakers because it demands active paddling, and weight shifting. I would call it a F1 car of the river. 🙂
what I like about this boat is the fast transition between edges and the nervousness for a creek boat. you can change direction really fast and the rocker is nice. However, I feel like the edges could have been longer. Sometimes you just drift. It can also be perceived as an advantage as it is less sensitive to side currents and unexpected rocks. It is indeed a very different way of paddling and it is sometimes hard to switch between boats. I have a pyrhana ripper and a zion creek and it takes me some time to get used to the feeling of each.
Looking forward to see how this goes! The hull echoes bits of the old microbats, but with all the modern concepts. You had it on anything steeeeep and manky? Looks like it would rule for that.
Banger review mate! Intrigued about the versatility, but guessing if one wants a Ripper2 feel they should size down? Yer Boi Cooper... Does he work for HWH or does he have a different shop? Got some G'Power interest ;-) #Bless
No he has a container and is doing his own thing with paddles and exo boats but has put demos at Chattooga whitewater shop in long creek for their demo program you can message him as ask him anything about that I put his email in the description if need it
Awesome review! Looks like a fun boat to paddle. Like you said during the video, it looks like you need to keep an active paddle in the water. Curious. You mentioned the bow being a bit soft, verses a sharp bow. Could you share more what is meant?
EXO has stepped up their game, it is creeker paradise in choice of yaks, how does it control from the hips, my personal preference, I do like a center rail myself
@@WadeHarrison got the boat, love it! i think it spun out on your because you are light for it maybe, I'm 105kg and it tracks just fine. keep the great videos coming mate!

Good feedback and I agree it’s definitely different to jump back and forth with something like a ripper

Yeah tune in will have the creek on water immediately followed by the slalom on water
Like your reviews Wade. You seem sincere.
I appreciate that!

Go check the scorch vs Zion video I showed how the edges run out on the scorch
@@WadeHarrison Cool! Shall do. Thank you very much

I went in very skeptical of these but was impressed with build quality and design just solid all round
initial thoughts was it's reminding me of an LL Alpha. just going by looks obviously.
Not even close to that
More like a DRX or Phoenix
@@WadeHarrison oohhh yeah
Phoenix. Forgot about that one
Great review. Unfortunately think I need an American Large ;-) Just gone for a large Scorch which has put a huge smile on my face
We are working on a new project that may interest you! Keep an eye out in the next few months
Just curious what's your height and weight?
I'm a bit heavy... 98kg at 5 foot 11@@WadeHarrison
Would this be a good kayak for Austria?
I never been there but would think that’s it’s home
@@WadeHarrison thanks Wade, I'm going to buy one!

Can’t lie, those thigh hooks are super sick lookin
They works
How does it compare to a LL Delta V88?
Very different I was not a fan of the Delta v
@@WadeHarrison yeah I bought a used one last year for my first whitewater boat and I wish I would’ve gotten something else.
