This is great advice. Most medical students would incorrectly think (including me) that our memory has deteriorated since graduating from high school, but the truth is that our strengths lie in different parts of medicine. For example, I am great with analysis and learning but poor with dry memorization, so I need to find different way that my peers to excel.

Thanks, bro. I’ve been watching your videos before I started medical school and now I’m a medical student in my first semester. I’ve been worrying a lot about my grades and stressing myself out. Your insights have been really helpful, thank you. Hopefully, I will smash the USMLE in a couple of years, with the help of your tips, of course. (:

Nice video. I definitely remember taking my first medical school exam and thinking to myself, "Welcome to the big leagues."

Tbh it really doesn’t matter. Unless u want to join a competitive residency I rather stay average and still be a human being than a robot.

I can not overemphasize how importan it is to choose directon in medicine that goes hand to hand with our personality. If for example u dont deal with stress in general dont ever think its gonna change over years and do not go into emergency med, though u may even be good at it but u will never have peace and will ruin ur life.Always take into account ur overall well being

I was actually the opposite. A dumbass outside of medical school, but once I managed to get in, I was always in the top 1%tile. I just understand it better than SN2 and SN1 reactions.
